This song and "how dare you want more" just hit so hard, ideas you just cant make sense of. Got me to move out of my state and start a real life. Idk it's so basic but also so particularly important and unspoken. Love it
I am a 28-year-old man from England. I don’t think I am Bleacher’s target audience but they make banger after banger. I love seeing the excitement on his face as he knows he’s creating great art. What a band!!
Sometimes artists breaking down the process of their work can come across as pretentious but Jack is just so passionate and this whole video is so full of joy it's amazing!
I adore this mans music and to hear the creative reasoning behind this song matches the emotions that this sonfmg brings out of me. "We barely survived, did the best we could - so lets fucking celebrate", every day!!!
MAKE IT HAPPEN! Anything is possible these days! Find out where he’ll be at, and you be there too! And then, have a GOOD reason to be there! Not easy but doable
My first bass was a squire also :) Probably that exact model too. I have a black Yamaha N89 now. Feels good to just sit and play. Nobody else does this. And he doesn't have to. Really appreciate you Jack.
i love this man, legit nothing more creatively inspiring and motivating than these videos of jack showing us the process. bleachers forever!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing your story telling process. I love the honesty, you are just sharing something with all of us. Stumbled upon your music and love your style! I tend to gravitate towards the dark, nihilistic styles. My favorites are NIN, Evanescence and Tool. When I heard Bleachers for the first time, the hurt was still there, but in an upbeat and joyful beat. At first it was quite unsettling. The words didn't match the mood, but it was actually helpful to take me out of that downward spiral. With this Pandemic, all of us are hurting in some form or fashion. Thank you for sharing your art!
behind the process of ttsoosn’s first single 🍅 the final of the series, for now …
Ahh yesss, jack antonoff once again saving my mental state from an eternal abyss with a philosophical way of explaining his songs..
Reading this first and then seeing 02:20 - 02:35 is the funniest shit ever
This song and "how dare you want more" just hit so hard, ideas you just cant make sense of. Got me to move out of my state and start a real life. Idk it's so basic but also so particularly important and unspoken. Love it

I adore this mans music and to hear the creative reasoning behind this song matches the emotions that this sonfmg brings out of me. "We barely survived, did the best we could - so lets fucking celebrate", every day!!!

What the heck! I'd love to hear a song with that guitar at 1:50.
"it's not me, it's your dad" ahakjshdkas. is that why the song resonates??
