- Liverpool dropped two more points as they were held to a 2-2 draw by West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday.
And there was a flashpoint on the sidelines too as Jürgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah were involved in a heated debate as the Egyptian prepared to come on as a second-half substitute 🔴 - Спорт
Depressing end to the Klopp era. He looks shattered from trying to keep us competitive against a City team who can afford to buy whomever they like. The idea that a new regime headed by Slot will somehow defy the odds seems fanciful.
City can't really buy whoever they like as people are watching their finances closely now. Plus, they might fall off when Pep goes.
Van Dijk can tear his hair out all he wants but as the so called best defender in the world he’s presided over a defence which has been leakier than the old Trafford roof. Granted there has been injuries & he has had a decent season individually but needs to be less arm waving & more accountability from him as a captain & a leader.

I just want to say Neil that it's easy to listen to many Reds supporters when we are winning, but I really value your observations when it comes to the post-loss/draw analysis.

Salah is disrespectful. Let him go. He is one of those causing anarchy in the team. Why should the two games against Man United spark the trouble against the manager. Klopp has been very friendly to every player and was upset because they are not executing his game plans. Misfiriñg Salah and Nunez must go.
Disappointing end to the season / era, but to put it into perspective after a poor season last time out and having to build a new midfield which isn't easy, im sure most honest fans would agree success this season would have been a top 4 finish , a decent run in europa and a trophy all of which was achieved pretty much . I think we got a bit ahead of ourselves in the process of a rebuild, things changed obviously with the klopp announcement but personally I think as disappointing as it feels we are where we should be if im honest.
It was inevitable Antonio would score he hates us, and just our luck Bowen came back from injury just in time to face us🙄. Bowen would be a good replacement for Salah actually.
So would Kudus...I'd take either.

It was just common sense, like the Arsenal CL game.
Do not blame Klopp. Every blame should be heaped on deliquent players. Players like Salah have spoiled Liverpool party. Just imagine during his absence, Jota and Diaz performed excellently well and goals were forthcoming. It is Jota's injury which made us fall out of the race. Try to motivate these two players. They are the loyal servants of the club. Let Salah depart as soon as one week after the season ends. It is Klopp who saved his face after disappointing Premier League show he had while playing for Mourinho at Chelsea. I do not know why Liverpool chose him instead of Mane and Firminp!!! With the money he has been getting, he can't put up realistic performance sure!!! Give that money to Jota and Diaz. Do not let anyone of those two players leave.
Performance in general was actually reasonably good but all the current existing issues were in evidence namely - conceding first, profligate in front of goal & vulnerable defensively. Season is petering out no doubt. Just need to try & get a win or two rap up third & give klopp a big send off.
Primitivo, you daren't criticize Klopp in that way. The man has tried to put every thing on order but some players' performance has thrown spanners in his works. It is up to you supporters to give him the send off he deserves.
It's SO sad to see this death of a relationship taking place in such a manner. Our frailities ON the pitch being passed on to Master Klopp to give reasonable answers to (when there really is no real reason).
This all makes me sad to see. Luckily for me I was actually at our Great Grandughter's birthday party during the match so I didn't have to actually WATCH it.

Looks like the players dont listen because they keep on making the same mistakes game in game out. Two headed goals conceded says it all. And one of them was from Bowen one of the smallest players on the pitch. This has been coming for a long time. Not just this season. Klopp has carried the club and the city on his shoulders and its all become too much for one man to do it for so long. Slot is going to need strong nerves over next couple of years.
Embarrassing end to the season. Big time bottlejobs. Thanks for the memories Jurgen, but it's the right time for a fresh start.
All of this is irrelevant if City win all their matches which they look like they are. We fell short when we didn’t put our chances away all season. Start the analysis from there. The Klopp and Salah spat it’s just natural reaction from both frustrated parties. Move on which they are both doing at the end of this season

28 shots 7 on target 25% success rate. Been like this for last two years. Used to moan they did not shoot enough. Now theyve gone the other way and shoot all the time.

However as much as I love Klopp I think the title loss this yr is down to him and Linders.
Since the United prem game we have never been setup right tactically or defensively.
This last 7 games should have all been about winning each game and being solid.
I really believe if we had been setup in each of the last 7 games to be solid… strong defensively and more compact we would have less chaos… more calm and our forwards would feel the pressure less and not choke and we would probaly won a lot of games 1-2 nil.
Our inability to keep clean sheets and not be setup right defensively and more solid in midfield has cost us.
We even have the players to say lets just sit back and be solid and hit teams on the break for the last 7 games. Just get the wins and be hard to play against.
Hard times ahead… slot has no defesive players and FSG wont spend.

Hurts bad Klopp going down like this. Especially when he never got a league title parade and that winning team was a beast! And defensively solid!
Defence and clean sheets need to be a priority to win titles. Can’t concede early and score late, the players get tired and anxious chasing games. A routine 1-0 or 2-0 works just fine against teams in the lower half.
Our season is done Klopp doesn't want to be there, get him out the door he's doing harm than good now.
Klopp is lost of ideas. He blew the Europa cup, gave away the FA cup. Since then, he is more confused both in decision making, changes and more so the dressing room.
Van Dyik's leadership is a shamble. He can't organize the defense line, nor instruct the lads in the pitch. He is being overrated.
Klopp will bow in a most disgraceful way.
Klopp must have done something terrible towards Salah for him to react in such a manner for the first time in his Liverpool carreer. He is known to be a humble guy and fans favourite.

Oh, and once again, I didn't understand Jürgen's starters, nor why he waited so long before changing things (and by the looks of things, neither did Salah)!!
