It was released in 1987, at which time S&R was then a division of Coleco (whose ColecoVision video game system was sold in the years 1982-85).

Well, maybe the 2 episodes Steve appeared on was taped in late 1987 but aired in early 1988. That's my hunch anyway.
About that comment you made to Chuck during your second show, was that part censored when it was broadcast, or did you add that sound on your own?
