@@vincenzymous9291 he was stabbed and killed when him and this officer were responding to a burglary the officer was injured but Jedi was killed
@@taroseren may he rest in peace
Handler made horrible mistake for his dog letting him get killed by a machete. Tragic. Jedi’s death was unnecessary, so many other options
@@legendofzelda2324 Oh really? That makes this awful news even harder to swallow. I'm sure his handler is heartbroken about the situation. Everyone lost big time during this incident and all that for a simple burglary.
The way the officer talks to his fur companion is just so wholesome!! ❤️
This dog has more of a proficient occupational skill set than most 20-somethings.
These highly trained police and military dogs absolutely amaze me.
I would rather have dogs make my food ! I gave up eating out anymore....everyone has the look on their faces like filling a fryer or flipping a burger is sooooo hard....and they want $20 an hr for doing a crap job....wtf?
For sure.
Rest in Peace Jedi. You are loved all around the world!! Thank you for protecting your community the way you did. ❤ This is why we’re the home of the Brave!
"OMG Dad, I found him! He's right here!"
"Hey! Search."
"What're you talking about? He's right fucking *starts frantically biting the tarp* under HERE!"
"Oh. GOOD BOY!"
*Guess what, papa? I SMELL A BITCH ROUND HERE.*
10:50ish. Jedi looks at his handler like, "Do I need to gift wrap him for you???"
right? yea, i found him. he's right here!!!!!!!
😆😆😆😆
Brings tears to think of what a good dog this was, and how he died in service.
"That's a good boi. That's a good boi!"
Police doggo doing awesome jobs. I love to see it. :)
Guudddd boiiiiiiii* 🐕😂
10:50
K9 *pointing with paws on the dude*
Officer: Hey, Search
K9: *staring daggers* You serious? RIGHT HERE!
Yeah it was funny. I think thiugh thst the officer knowing Jedi was alerting, and had given a signal to the fellow officers, I think he told Jedi to "search" to see if he'd indicate again. It was bloody hilarious though the look on Jedi's face.
Most criminals are more afraid of the k9's than the guns in the officers hand, so most will surrender as soon as they know the dog is locked onto them.
@@aurorasstorm5877 because a k9 is a bullet you cant outrun LOL
He’s like “Okay, I guess I’m going IN the boat with him then”
I think he knew the dog found him in the boat. I think he was trying to let the other police officers know, without letting the criminal suspect he had been found out
Just a citizen and dog lover from Chicago area: I am so sorry for your loss of Jedi. He was an amazing and brave Officer. He is truly at peace now.
That dog is good with it only being two months out. Not aggressive but he did awesome. Loved the look he gave his handler after he found the guy then he was told to search. He's like I've already found him dummy. 😆
Omg right that was so funny lol..had to rewatch that part
Most of the comments are about the dog’s look at him as to say” he’s here dummy.” Lol What a good boy
As a former K9 SAR handler I gotta say Jedi is da bomb!!!
Thanks for posting this RWP!! There’s no feeling in the world like working with your K9 partner to make a find. 💜
Rest In Peace K9 Jedi. EOW January 5th, 2022. K9 Jedi was stabbed to death after chasing down a suspect and his handler was also injured. They had responded to reports of a man breaking into a house armed with a knife.
source?
Is there a video about his death?
@@unknown-xs5kr Go search Seattle PD k9 Jedi killed on UA-cam and you'll find many videos.
@@definitelynotloey if you search k-9 Jedi it will come up. Also the video is either on this page or on police central channel. It’s not a nice a video as you see k-9 Jedi being stabbed 😞
They should have shot the man instead of sending Jedi after him! They knew he had a knife!!!!
I think because I’m a animal lover I’m biased when I say that the K-9 units are my most favorites. It’s so fun and beautiful to see the partnership and love between the two. Real world police I highly suggest more K-9 content.
I don't know where you are in the world but the UK passed a law called Finn's law where K9s are considered full officers. Suspect hurts a dog, they get sentenced like they were human. It's all one charge. It should be world wide.
Would love to pet one and hopefully would not get bite
I love how Jedi's whole trot and demeanor changes after he finishes his job. he's got such a proud strut afterwards, i love himmmm
Sad to hear jedi was lost a few days ago rest in peace doggo, many bones, treats and endless walks for you in heaven 🙏
It is very sad. Rest in piece, sweet boy
Both these officers, the K-9 and he's handler seem very genuine. Great job guys, great work.
Smiles all around. First for "good boy" Jedi, and the other for the love and excitement the officer has for Jedi. They are both in good hands (and paws!) with each other. 🐕👮
He was so proud of his partner. Heartbreaking that Jedi was killed in the line of duty
Jedi lost his life. May he RIP 🕊🐾😢 Fly high with the angels, Jedi!
Did he got into accident?? Or just because of old? Please tell me
@@liusfannylf It was a fatal stabbing by a perp, who was eventually killed by other responding officers at the scene.

Oh, I am so very sorry to hear that. His handler must be heartbroken. How awful...
May he Rest In Peace 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
They should have K9-Cams so we can see it up close and personal when they’ve got a hold of them. Am I a little disturbed? 😳
That’s actually getting to be more common, especially when they’re working off-leash. Great for SAR/FEMA stuff especially. Usually with LEO they’re close enough to catch everything on bodycams better since K9’s are so flexible.
Would love it! 1st person fur missile.
Can we get a Chomp Cam so we can see when the K9 bites the perp? 😁
@@stefanlaskowski6660 i mean they make pinhole cameras so small now.. theres gotta be a wireless one the size of a dime that we could stick on Shep's forehead to get the first dogson view 😄
No not disturbed I totally agree!!!!
As an owner of a German Shepherd, I love watching these videos. This breed is so stinking smart and they truly love having a job to do...even regular domestic pets...mine helps us protect our backyard chickens from predators and loves getting praise every time he scares away a nasty fox or possum prowling around the coop🥰
"Devotion, Bravery and Loyalty: animals were medicinal to men in the darkest place"
A quote about dogs in WW1, still as relevant today as officers deal with the realities of this tough job. RIP Officer Jedi 🖤
And that's how you be a bad ass and the goodest boy all at the same time! 🐕🦺😎
So wholesome and sweet how the dog is rewarded and how happy he is ! Good job officers and good job to the k9 officer for being a great handler .
So amazing how much both the dog and handler love what they do. What a good boy RIP
I love seeing K9s and hunting dogs all excited when they realize the vest is out and it's time to play.
Dogs that have been bred for certain jobs, are so HAPPY when they’re doing those jobs! They LOVE it & they just can’t stand themselves! 🐾😁🥰🤓🤩🐾
I wish the vest was only when he passed away
That guy could have been in a universe far, far away and Jedi would still have found him.
Sending prayers and condolences to the officer and his family. RIP Jedi. You have crossed the rainbow bridge and you're in Gods loving arms. Run free and proud. 🙏💝
🙄🙄😁😁
My favorite part was when the dude in the cruiser was like "yeah dude sitting on perimeter sucks ASS" lol
It was hilarious
Pardon my ignorance. What does that mean?
@@RiverGibbs I assume ready to respond to a call but no one is requesting a dog unit.
@@willapple8145 so they are searching a building for an escapee where they know for sure that he is at. So they established a perimeter (just imagine a big box and inside is where the bad guy is) and to ensure he doesn't get away they have a perimeter watch.
I love the way K9 officer Jedi is so proud especially after being called a “ good boy”. We’ve owned GSD for the last 20 yrs they are awesome.
His Victory Swagger was ADORABLE!!
This officer is so respectful. Bless him and his K-9!
Fair warning: "If the dog finds you, you get bit."
I'm thrilled to see the dog is wearing a safety vest. Thank you.
Doesn't matter if the dog was wearing a safety vest because later on the dog would end up getting stabbed to death by a criminal
I don't know why, but Jedi didn't have the safety vest when he got kill 😭
@@dialuna8923 - Oh my god, he got killed???? Whoever the POS that killed him, I hope rots in HELL!!
Well he was killed by a machete so the vest wouldn't have helped
@@James-wd2uu - this is so sad, but maybe a vest could have deflected a little. I don't know...
As someone who lives in WA and saw this on the news... it was heartbreaking to hear about Jedi's death at such a young age, finally picking up well on their craft together.. I wish the officer, Jedis handler, the best to this day.
Good boy Jedi! Good job officer for taking care of him afterwards as well with a drink and lots of praise. You make a great team.
Wow! So impressive on the dog and the handler's part. Love the fact that the handler heaped tons of praise on his dog and had such excited, positive energy he shared with his dog-buddy.
Also RIP Jedi. You were a wonderful intelligent best boy ever. You served so well and I'm so sorry a person hurt you.
I could watch K9 videos all day, every day. Feel free to share more of them! This team is awesome!
Not sure if you know but K-9 Jedi was sadly killed in the line of duty on 22nd January 2022
The offers like “search” the dog is like “I did search dummy he’s right there!”
The most heartwarming video I’ve ever seen! Just the pure joy between this man and his dog and the camaraderie with his fellow officers was such a joy to watch! Hats off and many blessings and God’s protection to these great guys!! ❤
I love how proud his partner(officer) is.

Well done Jedi and handler give Jedi big hugs from me. God bless you all for keeping the community safe.!!
I just love how great the K-9 Officer is treated by his partner. Amazing! It was obvious how close they are the mutual admiration and respect for each other. This made me smile, a lot.
13:53 to hear that his dog being retired and He misses him made me drôle a tears
I know! 😢Must be so difficult to just watch now! I hope his retired partner is still well & he can at least relive the good ol' days with him!

The dog was so happy when he heard that. He’s like “I am, I am a good boy!!” 😂❤
Love how he puts his paw on the side of the boat and calmly looks back as if to say .. “Dude.. no need to keep saying search ok !”
Love how he was over-the-top praising the dog right in front of the suspect haha
Suspect not only arrested but now wants the bond that they have while getting torn from a boat similar to the one he went fishing in as a child, long before his life went pear shaped
I love how the dog “watches him” and barks and barks to keep the pressure on!!
Wow great job.The way the officer treats him so we'll it's amazing.
Why do dogs float in water?
Because “That’s a good buoy!”
Good one!😂🤣🤣
This made my day!!!!
I always get choked up watching police K-9 and their handlers working. They make such great teams and bonding is phenomenal. The handler is great with the praise and 'reward' given the dog afterwards.
One K9 newbie does the job of twenty seasoned officers.
This is why I love dogs.
Would you want to be able to do what the dog does and smell someone's sweaty asshole from 20 yards out under a boat cover?
So true, dogs can be trained to do so many amazing things it’s incredible.
How proud was he of his dog partner? It was amazing to see how they work! Well done Jedi!! 👏👏👏
Unfortunately, K-9 “Jedi” was killed in the line of duty, a memorial service was presented to him in honor of his service.
