It’s a no brainier get it reopened ASAP for the benefit of local communities and I don’t even live anywhere near this railway.

it was the worse mistake ever,closing alot of the uk,s railways, workington to penrith line in cumbria was another out of the many that was closed, when ya think of the hard work that was put in to build these rail route.s in the first place, you would think the authorities would want to keep them open.cos all the hard work was already done for them, even now most the route & bridge,s etc is still there & usable, so work should be started as soon as posible to get it open to carlisle

Hi and good day to you, firstly many thanks indeed for all the time and trouble involved in allowing us to share your experience during the past few years, i note hor the green stuff is getting it's feet in to the ground and do consider that given ten years time we will possible find it hard to believe that the railway was indeed missing for fifty years And I mist sat the commentary is well received and a great shame that we could not experience prior, with very best wishes and hope you have a golden ticket

Very interesting but I wish the recorder had captioned each view with the location. I live around here and I don't recognise half the views.
