  • Hello and welcome to my new sewing space!!
    Today I'm showing you how to make my
    Snow Star Quilt Block that finishes at 9" x 9"
    I am using my latest fabric collection HOME TOWN HOLIDAY designed by me and produced and distributed by the fabulous Riley Blake Designs.

    Cut 16 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" squares
    Print One:
    Cut 4 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" squares
    Cut 4 - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles
    Print Two:
    Cut 4 - 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" rectangles
    Print Three:
    Cut 4 - 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" squares

    Beautiful block as always!! Appreciate the tip on how to adjust for short seams. Love home town holiday fabric. Just received the layer cake and I ordered the jolly bar as I loved the pattern for it.

    Hi! I am new to your fabric lines. I love the bright saturated colors. I'm hoping to have some one day. Your machine is adorable!     Thank you for another great tutorial. Your Sew Along Guides are the best in the quilting world. I appreciate the amount of work you put into them to make us quilter's lives easier. If you made a quilt with just the Snow Star blocks, what sashing fabric (from any of your collections still available) would you recommend?

    Do you always iron your seams open? Do you ever use starch with pressing instead of the clappers?

    I love your design boards! I have quite a few of the Ikea cubed furniture in my quilt room and do a lot of 12" finished blocks. Any chance of adding a 13" design board? I'm pretty sure it would sell out - like all of the other sized boards.

    IHi Lori just a quick question ....I am going to do my first applique but I have not been able to locate what u call the "SUE GLUE" in the UK what other glue would u recommend that would do the same job....I have just discovered ur channel and I am hooked as I have only made a few quilts as I have only been sewing since 2021 .....what create is the reason why I have wanted do quite.ting since I was little ❤

    Excited for a new pieced block video!! When you’re not filming do you work on one or multiple blocks at the same time? I’ll be doing Quilted Snowman rather than Let’s Make…but I’ll definitely be making a runner using these blocks!!
