For those saying that you can stick to default marksman and splitcoin with another variant of the slab revolver, you cant. the splitcoin window will pass before you can switch to another slab variant and firing. You can do this when the coin reaches its singing phase, but thats impractical (unless you're doing it with the alt fires) EDIT: Nevermind I was wrong, you can splitcoin with slab revolver while you have default marksman, but the timing window to pull it off is extremely tight, so I would recommend sticking to slab marksman if you want to consistently splitcoin with a slab revolver. Thanks to Oofrian for showing me this, you can check his channel out here www.youtube.com/@Oofrian Also I was wrong about slab marksman coins doing extra damage to weakpoints, splitcoins from the slab marksman deals 5 damage regardless of a weakpoint or not unless the enemy specifically takes extra damage from revolvers, but its still really powerful
that's wrong, you can splitcoin with another slab variant for the first splitcoin window. it is hard to do however, so you can argue that the alt marksman has more ease of use.
no but like, geniually, the slab marksman after the full arsenal update is actually so fun to use (in my opinion). people are clowning on it for no reason even after the buff.
I don’t like my main weapon being as slow as possible. Marksman for me I am used to being very fast and able to shoot coins quickly and when I tried using it my muscle memory of shooting the coins instantly wasn’t working out and I noticed a huge skill drop with it. Maybe clowning on it isn’t the best way to express your opinion but it’s def not for some people.
At first, I was a little skeptical to use the alt marksman due to the loss of crowd control, but I figured that it wouldn't be that big of an issue since fodder enemies are basically walking health packs and I have plenty of other options for mopping them up. Now the alt marksman has become one of the most important pieces of my kit, allowing me to elevate my Cybergrind high score from wave 27, all the way to nearly reaching 40. Being able to quickly and easily dish out high damage at any range is VERY handy. Plus it compliments with running all Jackhammers surprisingly well. I might not be very good at Ultrakill, but I find it quite easy to land my splitshots. And if these people are landing theirs with the default marksman enough for the different mechanic to be a deal-breaker for them, then they can too.

I feel the same about the screwdriver, it is actually pretty good. With the most damage and healing out of any railcannon (excluding combos with other weapons) and the ability to chain it infinitely (if you don't have a SSSkill issue) I would argue its one of the best railcannons. And also one shotting maurice without much skill is pretty fun
Drill punching is very fun in my opinion and does more single target damage than shooting 4 coins with electric if it only pierces once (drill punch does half the health of a mindflayer/swordsmachine/ferryman). It can pair well with impact hammer sometimes: shoot screwdriver at an enemy, hit enemy with a red speed impact hammer hit, punch the drill with feedbacker during the hitstop (you can also try to aim the drill at another enemy during the hitstop). 15 (drill punch) + 10 (impact hammer) = 25 damage. A slab marksman splitcoin will finish off a 30 health enemy
@@Jbg802 even though it’s got less range it’s still much more efficient, as well as dealing as much damage as for late cybergrind waves, if you’re relying on the screwdriver then you’re playing far from optimally because with that railcannon charge you can nuke for heavy damage and clearing of fodder, or railcoin (probably a coin or railcoinpunch), and actually healing off of blood is less of a factor. if you watch high level cybergrind all of their railcannon charges go into nuking and occasionally ultraricoshots, and a lot of their healing is parries and finishing waves

I find that chaining a coinpunch then instantly throwing and shooting another coin w/ slab marksman is a lot faster and easier to do than shooting each coin individually. It refills the hammer like normal but also gives more style because the coinpunch allows the coin to be used again
I've got my highest scores ever in cybergrind using the slab marksman with every other slab revolver. Quickswap between them for very solid long range damage. You only need to reload one of them in order to use all of them again.
Something you missed in talking about how the slab revolver works is that it does not have locational damage like the default revolver meaning it does not deal extra damage on heads and limbs.
I think you need to have a default and an alt revolver so you can use both of their properties when shooting coin. whichever one goes on the marksman itself I think just depends on which one you want to do more. I think having all alternates or all defaults loses out on so much potential.

The problem with the Slab Marksman is that you can just switch revolvers to the blue one when actually shooting the coin. i spent 470 hours of my life in ultrakill, you dont need to feel sad about it
@@prep5181 I only spent 100 lol
necrodancer ahh weapon
Slab Marksman is BETER
IS that Beter
id say they're both equal, but i like the alt Marksman's playstyle better it feels badass as hell
GE-
Throw coin from normal marks then switch it alternative piercer or sharpshooter :/
shits kinda inconvienient yknow? and now you cant slabswap with splitcoins, bc at that point, the piercer/sharpshooter is still in cooldown
Bro I agree with most of the stuff in the video but, with all due respect, wtf is that pronunciation of "Clair De Lune" 😭
idk bro ig i was just off the rails when i read the script and i only noticed when i was editing
really you dont need to give up the default split coin you can just have your marksman as slab and one of your other revolvers as normal or vice versa and just change between revolvers when you need the slab coin split or default coin split
no you cant, the splitcoin phase of the coin will pass before you can switch to another slab revolver and firing at it
@@prep5181 you can then just keep the marksman as the slab revolver and leave the rest as normal revolvers
@@Using_Pcyou can only split with the marksman iirc
@@hhhhhh-zz2fw im pretty sure you can split coin with any revolver
This is
bro just keep normal marksmen and combo with slab piecer and it does the same thing but yeah slab marksmen is the best for boss fights
I dont use slab marksman because its way too satisfying when you instakill 5 streetcleaners at the same time
oneshots streetcleaners from any angle or you hit the shine
I would say this video is based... but I won't, due to your screwdriver vid.
noob
no?
ok noob
says the one that says the screwdriver is trash
it is trash noob
why not just like
have the normal marksmen and then shoot the coin for the dmg with say the alt peircer
you cant, the splitcoin phase of the coin will pass before you can switch to another slab revolver and firing at it
i only dont like it because its slow lol
we dont care buddy
then why did you click on the video?
I wanted to see if the video was good and see an exscuse to why slab marksman is good
well no shit the slab marksman's not gonna seem good if you dont give two flying fucks about what the video has to offer
