Rearranging Scheveningen Beach 2010

Scheveningen beach - The Netherlands, as they are rearranging the beach, making it higher and longer to meet future climate conditions.
The Netherlands, champ at water control, dikes and beaches. The Sea gulls and crows are very pleased to get the daily free sea food, that is spit up by the tubes that are transporting the sand from distant sea to the coast. They sure can use it now as this has been a hard Winter for them. Guess they think this continuing feast is specially prepared for them, to help them get through Winter. :-) One's death is another one's bread. The daily sea gull feast draws a lot of spectators.
