- It's 1999 and you're playing Monster Hunter on your Game Boy Color in the car back home. Streets lights are the only thing lighting the screen.
This is the first in a series of demakes we're creating! In this first episode we're taking you back in time with Monster Hunter: World Edition, which is of course based on Pokémon Gold and Silver
More demakes are in the making! (We have around 7 planned). These videos are a bit shorter but with more regular uploads!

Funciona pra celular?
I hope someone actually make this into a Rom hack game
I say take all the time you need on these things, because they are ElderDragon-Level dude.
That sound when the batteries die haunts me to this day.
Oh man! I didn’t notice the power light dimming out. It’s the little details.
I guess I must be conscientious as F in terms of personality traits, because I don't remember it ever happening to me.
And the screen slowly fading, so you can literally watch your progress die
Imagine finding a shiny and then it happens 😂
the panic of trying to get out of a fight so you can save it before that little red light blinks its last... whew... made even worse when you find out thems the last AAs in the house and you're only 7 years old....
The fact one of the audio tracks cuts out to let sfx play like an actual Gameboy game is such incredible attention to detail.
This is amazing!
Thank you so much! ❤
This is pokemon ;)
Unbelievable. Just how do you do this!
(Behind the scenes, please!!)
Thank you dude!! Haha I think we might make another behind the scenes on this yea!
@@64Bits That's a Super great idea. Hope it will come true!
This is INCREDIBLE :O
Hey thanks man!
You can tell these guys have major respect for video games when they got the detail on the cover art down to the stippling on the ESRB rating.
Amazing love the recreation to gold/silver's intro. Also the half lit battery life on the gbc was a neat touch.
Glad someone noticed the battery light dying :)
Everyone here is saying how they'd play this version of Monster Hunter but meanwhile I'm thinking that a cooking game with the felyne chefs would be amazing
We would definitely play that! :D
what I've been wanting forever is a monster hunter type game but torriko style where they get stronger by eating the monsters, and combine it with cooking :>
THAT ENDING HURT ME PHYSICALLY!! I know that feeling all too well!!
Well done, great work!
Man that ending! They'll never understand the struggles 😩
This is absolutely incredible! Its really fun watching you guys create these animations live and anticipating the final product! Your hard work always pays off!
Amazing job I look forward to every upload. This is passion and class. Chef kiss/10
As soon as I saw the Gameboy cover of the game, I wanted this to be real so bad. I would find it, play it, and never let it go 😂
0:57 the low power part got me really good, just like the real gameboy
So awesome! I love the amount of care and detail you put into all of your animations 😄
I'm crying, this makes me feel so nostalgic. Also BIG shouts out for using Gen2 as the main setup for this Demake!
Man that old ESRB logo takes me back! The color pallete choice is also exquisite!
Never expected anything Monster Hunter related on this channel. Awesome video!
This was really cool! Thanks for all the hard work in making this.
Excellent work as always
really cool video! I remember watching a stream of the water part a while back, cool to see it finished, really feels like a game boy game
That ending brought hurtful memories! The batteries dying on you in the worst time possible!
Omg, this is sick! Wonderful work!
That was amazing!! You guys really nailed the Game Boy aesthetic in both visuals and sound!
This is amazing! Nice job man!
I’ll never once regret following your work. This is phenomenal
this may be my favorite animation you guys have ever made ngl
Gorgeous presentation! Y'all didn't have to make the animation smooth especially since the game boy isn't able to do that yet you mad lads did so anyways and it's great!
Apparantly Game Boy could do 60 believe it or not :| (Yes we went into a lot of details trying to make it as close as what was possible haha!)
Can't wait for the behind the scenes, I NEED to know how you matched the painting style to the original gameboy box-art!
WOAH??? THIS IS SOOO GOOOOOD! It would be nice to learn how you did that behind the scene! This is awesome!
Dude this is so clean :o
Wow; things I didn't realize I needed until I saw them!
Your mastery of that beautiful GBC style is so wonderful!
Awesome work!!
Yes! I love this so much!! Well done! 🥰
This made me smile when I saw the opening screen pop up. Well done!
Damn this looks amazing!
Can’t wait to see more!
Every single thing in this video comes together perfectly, that's incredible.
I'm in awe. You match the style in such a unique fitting way!
This looks so amazing!
as a monster hunter fan I'm amazed but also terrified at how you managed to incorporate aspects of world, rise and tri into this video
the smooth motion of that title screen dragon is too amazing.
This is awesome! Nice job guys!
Mind blowing work
Omg dope work
This is absolutely incredible!
I swear this brings nostalgia to me
Good job man
Awesome awesome vid. Need this game now !!
AWESOME AMAZING INCREDIBLE I LOVE IT THANKS
Now this is a Monster Hunter game I could REALLY enjoy! 😂
The chip tune theme is amazing
This is really cool! I was ready to watch an entire playthrough. Lol 😄
This is incredible, i would buy this in a heartbeat.
Fantastic job!
This is so cool!
This is incredible! Kudos to all the accurate sprite work!
I did always wonder what each generation of monster hunter looked like with the corresponding Pokémon generation. Like GSC with MHFU, RSE with MH3U and then MHW/MHR with BW.
We wondered too! But we knew we would never get it so we this was our take on it. And thanks!
Not to mention the resemblance of legendaries and elder dragons in 3rd generation of both franchises:
Fire based : Groudon for Pokemon, Dire Miralis for MH
Water based : Kyogre for Pokemon, Ceadeus for MH
Air based : Rayquaza for Pokemon, Amatsu for MH
@@ibosu3190 and let’s not forget that both 3rd gens of each game introduced a whole lot of water in they’re own ways. I always find that humorous
@@64Bits In 3DS Monster Hunter Stories I designed the pokemon champion Cynthia as an avatar :D
That was really good very well done ✅
Ooo this is amazing
This is an amazing video
That's just awesome
That was amazing
Animated battery dying effect took me back to being 10.. great work!
This really is awesome.
This is great!
Awesome!
My god this is amazing.
I love it. Just a couple of things like the music and the Palamute that don't fit but it's still great
This is exactly what I've wanted!
God damn!
I legit forgot what the battery dying feels like. Oh man. Well done.
this is so cool
This just made me wish someone actually work on a project just like this.
wow, i'm surprised, it was really badass in 64 bits... and this song, oh this song, reminded me a lot of my retro days... it was just amazing
I frickin love it
“This is what monster hunter would look like running on a gameboy color!”
It turned out super awesome!
Thank you Eva, couldn't have done it without your help!
I really like this demake aesthetic !!
I'm really digging how the intro is reminiscent of Gen 2 Pokémon's intros. Plus including some of the iconic monsters of World in the intro was cool to see. I had a nice chuckle seeing Kulu Ya-Ku get stunned by the paratoad, and was blown away by how cool the Anjanth looks in pixel form. Plus those felyne chefs look just as adorable in pixel art form.
Love it, I would definitely buy a monster hunter demake
Lovely.
Now, this demake game...I would play the hell out of! ❤🎮
That ground theme is so good
amazing
Holy cow. 90's nostalgia flashback to the max lol
音楽も映像もクオリティが高すぎる…めっちゃ好きだわwww
どうもありがとうございます!
Ok, when you turned off the GB and the pixels froze and faded away gave me the biggest nostalgia trip.
Yooo this is great, no... This.... Is... Awesome!!!!! ❤
holy hell, the music is awesome
Nicely done ❤️
Monsters training monsters and using them in a fight like in pokemon would love to watch it since in-game monsters do interact with each other. 😳
I have no words
👏 👏 👏
Wtf bro a great job 👌
The music is great too
Dope! I loved gen 2 and monster hunter
Dude that is so dope .
Want!!!!!
sure sucks when you're about to kill a rathalos but then your homies' link cable disconnects
Wow i love it , i need more from monster Hunter ❤️
I want to see every monster ever made in that original Ken Sugimori watercolor art. Blown away by that.
So that was amazing.
Awesome
It's bizarre how I can click on the channel of someone who just put out something new, and it's not front and center I have to dig for it. UA-cam get your platform together already.
Finds the big bad monster you were hoping for!
*Batteries die suddenly.*
I know the feeling.
Reminds me of when I encountered an Entei in Silver, and yep, the batteries died!
