Yes, we used grow lights. Light was always on for making the time-lapse. In general, 8 to 10 hours is ideal conditions. However, hyacinth is very easy to grow, if you don't have a grow light then just place it in a bright spot and regularly watering it.

The camera is set to take a picture per a period time. After that, we combine all pictures to a time-lapse.

do you just water it once before putting it in the fridge or do you keep watering it daily while in the fridge?
We checked it every 2 weeks and sprayed some water, if the soil's dry.
