For a side character of a show about magical girls he's probably the best character
Straight up hijacks the show whenever he shows up. This is probably what it would feel like if a character like Bartolomeo got his own show but Luffy kept making cameos.

@@jinanbhuiyan9670 It's from the Fate(Series) but this one specifically is from the spin-off(one of many) Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya, more specifically it's from the movie Oath Under Snow which serves as a prequel to Fate Kaleid.
Fair warning, the Fate series, and the whole Nasuverse is one gigantic rabbit hole. It easily crushes other series like Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, etc. when it comes to sheer scope and it has some of the most complex interconnected plot lines out there. Proceed to watch it at your own risk but I can at least tell you that it's worth the effort.
Shirou is, hands down, probably one of the coolest and most badass protagonists I've ever seen in all anime. His deep traumas and psychological scars are fascinating and he's a great fighter once he goes all out too.

@Lion Bloody the problem is that the anime idiotized him, in the VN he is so much better, i mean, for example, the anime makes him look like the clueless hero, but in the VN he has a visible atraction to Sakura at the beginning. Or in the battle with caster he has a deep psychological thought pattern instead of the idiotic and impulsive reasoning present in the Anime (this is in UBW obviously)

@@antonioguzman5148 Anime cut out all of his thoughts that were seen in the VN so you never get the full picture of him as a person in the anime. They should have made an anime only episode that covered all that somehow.

You know something I really think shows the difference between this Shiro and everyone else is how he treats unlimited blade works. All the others treat unlimited blade works with extreme reverence, some going so far as to pray to the reality marble like a deity. This Shiro on the other hand? He simply uses like a tool. It’s his magic and that’s all it is to him

No. Archer is canonically the strongest version of Emiya, counting this one. He is probably the close second, but Archer would definitely win.
In my opinion, Fate Kalied must have always been a representation of the Illya Route. With this Shirou and Illya as protagonists, she must have been in Miyu's place.
Fate / kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Oath Under Snow can easily be applied to Illya as its own Route, with a few changes but it would look something like this:
A Shirou that combines the best characteristics of the three routes of the VN: the will of Steel of Stay Night, the power of the conviction of UBW and the desire to protect the person you love from HF.
A girl who lost everything and is like a broken and emotionless doll is saved by two strangers, one wants to use her as a tool to save millions of people (Kiritsugu) and the other only wants her to be a happy and normal girl ( Shirou).
The bond between Shirou and the girl would grow and they would both begin to love each other and their bond would become bigger and bigger, which would cause the beginning of a beautiful and precious relationship (it can be a sibling relationship or a romantic relationship).
When both believed that they would have the possibility of spending their whole lives together and have a happy ending, the appearance of evil that would separate both brothers and plunge them both into the most absolute and complete despair. That event would be the beginning of Shirou's desperate search to save the only person who gave him light in his life ... the only person left after losing Sakura and never having met Rin.
The only thing left for Shirou is to participate in the Holy Grail War (in this case it could be a common grail war or an apocrypha war) and win each battle against all participants of the war in order to use the power of the Grail to save the life of his beloved little sister.
With only that idea in his mind, Shirou starts a bloody and deadly carnage against all the other Masters (in this version Shirou would be very similar to Mind of Steel, becoming a heartless person and killing everything in his way), that Massacre would be what would finally bring him face to face with the person who took away everything that mattered to him in his life.
His victory and wish would send Illya to the other world so that she can have the happy life she deserves. But they couldn't go together because of the appearance of Archer Gilgamesh (NOT Angelica).
Shirou would stay behind to give his sister time to leave and he would fight Gilgamesh, we would have the epic battle of Shirou vs Gilgamesh but this time Gil would fight seriously and Shirou could only contain him and end up losing to Enuma Elish. But Shirou wouldn't be sad, despair wouldn't torture anymore. He had lost everything: his father, Sakura, his city, his world, his own life, but inside him was filled with an emotion that he never thought he could feel again. Happiness
Even when he lost the battle against Gilgamesh ... Emiya Shirou raised his fist high to the sky, as a smile grew on his face; because he knew he had lost the battle but won the war. He had saved his sister. Shirou managed to give Illya the opportunity to have a better life, a happy life.
While the boy's eyes were closed and life escaped from his body, Illya would end up arriving in the other world where she would meet a girl named Miyu and together they would live strange and curious adventures with Ruby and Sapphire, they would meet magicians (Rin and Luvia), dopelgangers. (Kuro) and they would end up traveling again to the world where Illya comes from.
Basically it would be the events of Kaleid's story but with the protagonists with their roles changed.

I would say shirou is one of the best self taught fighters in all of fate and anime most protagonist that use a sword or any weapons have like an op master but not shirou nah he learned that shit on his own he like a Jack of all trades master is none and that’s what makes him so interesting given that u can break him down into four part not counting archer shirou
well OAS gets combat skills from the card if i'm not mistaken, and the rest of them either get bodied or rely on someone else in some way shape or form until post 5th HGW. fate route relies on saber, UBW gets strong after fighting archer and getting access to UBW and rin's crest, and HF gets strong after receiving archers arm. you're not technically wrong about his teacher being himself, but its never necessarily "self taught". he's mad strong for a human in the HGW, but until something pushes him he's pretty below average main protag wise. and this is coming from a guy with "EMIYA" in his name.
@@rezz__emiya5948 hmm I see what your saying seeing as at the beginning of every route he is a fit dude but what it the only skills he’s had at that time was simply archery and as for oas he was pretty much a badass even without the card and even for a time while wounded and didn’t have access to miyus mana pool so I would say for miyu verse shirou and Ubw shirou they are technically are the ones who gain the most from there routes while fate shirou lost the most and didn’t really gain shit and as for hf he did lose but in the end was just normal I think he gain Sakura which I will not count but yeah idk I’d his body is the same as before he now has archers a abilities or something idk
@@davegarcia8809 you're correct, I'm just saying on a power level, normal Shirou is above the average person pre 5th HGW, but the difference is how they get stronger are different. OAS uses his own strength the most, while the other three SN routes use different means of getting stronger. Not to say that OAS didn't get help from the archer card but come like the end of that film he doesn't have it anymore.
Then there's archer, who is a whole different teir of Shirou.
@@rezz__emiya5948 facts and I feel like archer the one we know well I feel like the one from Ubw was similar to the one from the fate route seeing as in one line he states he can project Excalibur but in order to project he need information or needs to see the item and what happens in the fate route shirou projects Excalibur and seeing as archer from Ubw had an amazing projection level magic is wanna say they are from the same route

This is my favorite shirou heaven's feel is close and I like them cause they give up everything for one person but this shirou is brutal he wont give mercy if it means saving miyu I find this shirou to be the most reliable to lose everything just trying to hold on to the one thing that you care about. And the eyes and bags how the bags develop and how his yes change to show his fury is atoms plus the fight with lancer is one of my favorites all time.

This is the original. But the version featuring Adam from Three Days Grace is more popular is probably the one you know.
Edit: I just looks in the description. Seems the creator of this AMV mistaken put that version as the listen song. But trust me when I say this is the original version not the other.
There's two versions of this song. The most notable difference is one specific line. The one in this version goes "I'm getting tired of this shit, I've got no room when it's like this, what you want of me, so deal with it". The radio edit version goes "I'm getting buried in this place, I've got no room, you're in my face, don't say anything, just go away."
