It also is written awkwardly, with the segment dedicated to Stheno, Cat, and Liz being something of a Giant Space Flea moment. Despite being the final antagonist, Altera has no buildup- she's introduced and killed just as quickly. It's just not anywhere close to being on par with the rest of the writing.
