I feel like the water is more like 3.5 feet or less, as we did it at 3.7 per the gauge at paradise on June 25th and was definitely much more water than this video.....rather than break through the lateral at double drop we entered the rapid left of the rock closer to center and then back ferry was easy to get away from the hole at the bottom...we took the exact same line on Ladel down the center.... and I took the left of center sneak route on Wolf Creek to absolutely stay away from the killer hole on river right... thie change in this river from top to bottom is amazing to me.....one of my favorites....
We launched June 28th so if the flow was 3.7 on June 25th you’re correct. I personally didn’t look at the gauge but was told it was 4 feet when we launched.
Question. My brother and I have a 13’ raft. What is your opinion on taking these boats out on the selway and snake/salmon? Obviously lower cfs, but was just wondering if it could handle it
Sure hope the fires aren't in the canyon. We had 5 ft. Perfect set up with 14' SOTAR paddle assist. We hit most of the holes at Ham, Wapoots,... and w/o my bow paddlers would have been upside down. Perfect river for paddle assist. Some of the big cat boats had to carry some of our gear.
Pretty serious rapids, different camera angle on raft. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! Really nice 👌 stick work. Thank you for sharing!

Not the best camera angle on this one but enjoyed it anyway. Selway looks amazing. Love these VTRs.
No pins and clips this time??
Nope - that boat was set up with spinnies so I used them instead of changing

It depends on the water level and your ability
Very nice, what a trip!!
💪😎🤙
What day did you guys launch? The water flows looked similar to when we launched..
