    I used to race an SV 650, and big bore supermotos were included in the class.
    Every time I heard that booming exhaust note coming up behind me, I would mutter to myself "getting passed by a dirtbike".
    I had so much respect for those guys.
    I could easily catch the 600 fours on acceleration, but those big singles would pass me on the inside, and walk away from me on the corner exit.
    Here the 400 rider has skills. And the 1000 rider needs to learn some...

    To the honda CBR 1000rr rider, you should get a new hobby! I hope you watched this video because you need to see how bad you are at riding. Crossing the yellow line like that over and over again prove you have no skill at all. In my opinion, crossing those yellow lines spells death and I don't care how many times you gotten away with doing that in the past. Your putting your life and the person in the next lane life in danger!

      ***** Well Arnold, I glad you looked at my riding and decided to comment. But, as I stated before my problem with this guys riding is that he was crossing the yellow dividers and in my opinion that is death! In my video I never once crossed that divider, I only cross it to pass slower vehicles and I get right back over. Meaning I cross with a reason! Now, I admit I made to riding mistakes but, here in Japan the roads are narrow and bumpy.

      Honestly I don't think you understand how good the DRZ400SM is it's been praised for it's handling capabilities and how it can out handle the big bikes not to mention how mod friendly the platform is seeing as it's been around for ages.

    • @smibru
      @smibru 8 років тому

      OspreyBravo18 And I don''t think you understand or comprehend my statement at all. First of all, I was talking about the Honda CBR 1000 RR not the DRZ. Secondly, I have an XT660X supermoto! So, I do understand it's supermoto handling capability. Read it twice or trice to make sure you understand what the writer is trying to say!

    • @Osprey1994
      @Osprey1994 8 років тому

      smibru Nah dude shut up I'm telling you that that 1000 rider and the DRZ rider could be the same skill level and as long as there are corners the DRZ can keep up. Now crossing the line if you can't see who is coming probably not the best idea but it looks like he tries to keep from crossing the line when the corner is a blind corner which is a smart move but the DRZ is definitely out handling the 1000 like I said it should.

Which means I have to get lucky and snag one with low miles for a discount if one is available after I get my permit or I have to get a loan for a new one...

    This is why I hate riding with liter bikes. The riders usually suck just as much as that guy did, then they gun it in the straights and you have no chance to pass, then you hit the twisties again and within like 3 corners you're on their ass again. It's infuriating.

    but but but . . . how can a 40hp dirt bike smoke a 160hp supersport??!!? unpossible.
    No for real. I got a KLX400 earlier this year, with dirt and SM wheels. Tracked it. Man is that thing fun at the track. All the liter bikes passed me on the straights but in the corners I was trying to not hit them. So fun and easy to whip a SM through tight corners.
