      Billy is 100% bait fishing, which in my view (and my view only) is a complete waste of a fishing day in Norway. The Shore Hunter guy Wayne also in my view wastes his frequent trips by only fishing relatively dull jetties and piers when it's probably the most scenic country in Western Europe.
      Lure fishing in Norway is incredible and there's really no need to bait fish.
      Each to their own, bit I don't think either Billy or Wayne is getting the most out of Norwegian fishing.

      So did I, and it was about me. 😂😂
      Mike did half the trip and had to return to the UK. We dropped him at the airport and Nathan waited about 20mins before he said “can we have Mike back instead of you?”
      TBH the whole trip was hilarious, relentless banter back and forth. We were still creasing in the airport on the way home. A lot had to be left out of the video.
      Nathan is a great lad.

      @@MsJon52i feel very sad we didn’t run the cameras more. There was a lot of great stuff missed. Nath has done a top job putting this together. We were pretty much laughing all ten days, through the highs and lows. Its a shame we didn’t get some footage of the other guys. The lure fishing was insane. I was just made up that my brother was there to help me land a PB halibut. It was a very exciting sequence. It lifted the pressure a bit. The marks were spectacular.

    What a spectacular place and I know the camera can’t do it justice.
    Lure fishing strikes me as the best way to fish in Norway. All the fish there feed in such clear water, often predating on herring, small coalies etc. ideal for lure fishing.
    When are you going back? 😉
    Thanks for all the hard work you put in to this.

    I will be 100% honest I've not been watching Any of my fishing subscriptions because of bad health and bad weather here on the isle of man it's just made me envious but now we're past winter solstice I'm going through my lures putting on new hooks where needed and making up some rigs for beach casting, and my goal this year is to get a bass off a local mark, they're are fickle in the local bay as one year apparently they fed after dark every night for over a month people getting 3 or 4 fish in 2 hours all around the 3lb and up mark the next year only a couple here n there at night or instead during the day in rough difficult conditions, I may have to suffer many nights of blanks cuz it's a barron mark not much else feeds there apart from sandeels but theirs no guarantee they're there for the bass to follow. Anyway here to crossing atleast one goal off the bucket list for 2025. Happy New year's btw ✨

      @The_Judge300 13 днів тому +1

      I am fishing sea bass here in Norway, so it might very well be very different from where you fish, but in my experience is the best fishing during the summer between 4am and 10am in windy high pressure days.
      When the water is colder, then calm high pressure afternoons/evenings seems the best.
      But as usual with fishing, is nothing set in stone.
      Far from it.
      Tight lines.
