I would think it is wiser to have the mount that can handle heavier payload than a lesser one. A different, tougher magic arm can be attached to the Neewer anyway. For GoPros, the included one should suffice, should it not? Good to see the comparison as I am ready to buy one.
@11:48 you probably dontneed to switch the bolt, if you just loosen the magic arm and adjust that in place where you had it before, rotating it so it's out of the way
Thanks for this, I was looking at both of these yesterday. I think you can buy the Ulanzi magic arm separately and add that to the Neewer cup and have the best of both. 😎📷
Great video and so timely. I just ordered a dji pocket 3 for road trips. I plan on mounting it inside on the windshield, either below or slightly to the right of the rear view mirror. Is that feasible with these mounts? Thanks.
Hi Marvin, these suction mounts will absolutely mount to you car's windshield or body but for internal use watch my other video ua-cam.com/video/uFFJlNmB73E/v-deo.html to see how the Leenconghui: amzn.to/3Iinz2I mount is the best way to go for vertical mounting inside your vehicle. I use the small rig suction mount on the radio screen for my phone with the Memo app as well. Thx for connecting in! Paul
Fair question and many thanks for connecting. The short answer is no. The suction mount's job is to adhere to the body/windshield of the vehicle not absorb vibration. So far, I've noticed that the P3 has such good stabilization that vibration is minimal if at all in most driving scenarios but you have to be realistic with your expectations. If, like you saw in the video, when I trek down rougher roads then I break out the MovMax Blade Arm but for most day to day driving a suction mount is fine. You could look at something like the insta 360 damper (www.amazon.ca/insta360-CINSTBA-Insta360-Vibration-Damper/dp/B09MW299HK) Right now I'm testing the Action 5 for this very thing so stay tuned for that video shortly. Hope this helps, Paul
Bought the neewer last week haven’t had time to open it up so this answered a lot of ?’s. Have you mounted any bigger gimbals & cameras using these mounts? Eventually I am looking to set up my DJI rs3 pro with out breaking the bank if possible, i want to take advantage of the raven eye. Any thoughts appreciated.
I had both and prefer the Ulanzi one cause it was smaller and I preferred the arm on it. I have a Sony A7IV with a 16-35 PZ lens that I mount to it. Haven't had issues at all. Also have a Sigma 24-70 I've used as well a couple times. The longest I had the camera mounted for was about 2 hours.
Just wanna throw in my experience. Had both mounts but preferred the Ulanzi one due to size. I haven't had issues with either when testing. Camera setup is a Sony A7IV with either a 16-35 PZ or Sigma 24-70.
@@1QpVision I meant as in I preferred the smaller one. But despite being the smaller one and holding less weight, it performed well with a full frame camera.
Quality content. I watched the whole video!
Extremely useful. Thank you so much!
I grabbed the neewer and then grabbed one of neewer's better magic arms that has arri locating pins and it's great so far!

Sc-02 is my pic for GoPros. Newer for full frame. Cheers

Hey thx.
Does it prevent camera shakes

For a full frame camera I would use two Ulanzi SC-02 suction mounts with the Ulanzi CO06 extension arm that forms a bridge between the two mounts.

great job!
8 inches wide ?
No, I state right in the intro that the Neewer is a 6" mount but I measured it and it's actually 5.5" across the suction pad. Hope that helps. Cheers!
They works with a full frame camera?
They can work with anything but I would use the Neewer for full frame cameras due to the additional payload.

@@xandersitu what do you mean by due to size if the neewer is bigger to hold more weight?

I'm looking at these two to get it and needed to see this. I'm on theinsta360 gang though
Your audio went out of sync towards the end
Since when did Joe Biden do camera gear reviews?
And where did he get this equipment in 1980?
