Well I'm in the Midwest, where we've been eating this for years! They know how to fry down here baby😋 Dee-lish 🐔 And it makes a difference when grown folks are cooking, not a bunch of bored kids
@@JLJupiterTV Thanks JL☺️ much love right back at ya! I'm a new subscriber, a couple of weeks now. Really enjoy your honesty, and all the yummy food👍🏾 You're so right about coleslaw. I don't do old, dry, or store bought. God bless you with much more success🙋🏾♀️
Those of us who went to college down south “FAMU” in Tallahassee, FL circa 1997-2004 know “Guthries”. The original concept for Raising Cane. Texas toast and chicken fingers after a weekend of clubbing was the go to. They were a family run business with one location.
In Texas they are very consistent. This establishment is pretty simplistic. My advice, they offer packets of Louisiana hot sauce. Request it and put the hit sauce in the cane sauce.
I love this new format of franchise Friday not everybody lives in a state that has Mom and Pop shops like Philly has so by you doing the franchises I think it'll relate to a broader audience cuz they might have that same franchise in their state. And I'm with you I don't see the hype on raising canes I think they're chicken is mushy french fries average great videos keep up the good work.
I have Never tried this place I'm Not really Big on these type of Spots the Mom & Pop Spots Do it for me were They Care about what they Serving You ✌🏾💯 JL keep Doing it Brother
You specifically have to request for the chicken to be cooked extra crispy. Their coleslaw is trash you can replace it with additional Texas Toast or fries. Also, you need to add your own seasoned salt to their fries.
Feels like common sense decision their managers need to be listening to customers like you about and implementing them everywhere. Keep improving, otherwise that chicken looks like a frozen meat joke. 😂
I’m from Mississippi originally. We have a bunch of them at home because they are from Louisiana! We don’t have them in Atlanta. So last weekend I drove to Athens Georgia to get some and it was incredible
Key thing you said: the volume up in there with it being the 1st of those up that way. They ain't got time for extra crispy. Come to the Midwest or south where it's commonplace and not so crowded and the crispness will be there. Trust. I eat it on occasion here in Cincinnati. Never a mushy bite.
Honestly, it's not the best thing in the world but it's a good spot when you're just hungry and need to eat real quick. I came across my first Raising Canes when I was down south
OMG they are opening Raising Cane & Jolliebee in my area. All I know about RC is that it's all chicken fingers and that's really not my thing but my step son it's all about the dips. I guess it could be good because I love the dips at PDQs.
My brother remember you have been pampered with the real deal mom and pops joints, so I imagine that the average Chan restaurant can by no means stand up to your normal reviews, now having said that I love the idea of this new segment your doing, shake it up a bit, but keep giving it to us real like you do and the masses will continue to follow my brother, much luv and continued success 🙌
Canes can be really good when fresh and when they fry it harder. Flavors are there. Never get the slaw lol. Most people that hate it don’t like the sauce. To me the sauce slaps 😂
Thanks for making the video. I live in NYC where there is no raisin canes and I was going to Philly soon to just try raising canes in Philly. Thanks for giving me your honest review.
We have them here in South Carolina and if you fill out a birthday card you get a free meal lol that's how I found out about them . They were really good I was surprised I'm picky when it comes to my chicken too
Yeah, JL after your review we tried the one near Sesame Place in Langhorne. The chicken was super tender but it had no flavor. Some salt, garlic, pepper and paprika and it would have been delicious... The best part of the meal for me was the Garlic Bread...
Rule #1: Never ever ever ever ever ever eat where they cook for college kids, because 95% of the time the food is trash. College students are always broke, in a rush, and or drunk or high. All they want is a lot of cheap food done fast.
@@JLJupiterTV cool then make me a believer. I work for a major university and I deal with them first hand. It may be a little different in PA than NJ. I love the channel Bro. 💯

How's it going JL Fam?? Just wanted to let you know that I'm really digging this new franchise Friday video review! It's cool 😎 and refreshing to hear your thoughts and opinions on big franchise places. So just keep doing what you're doing because we love it💜🙏🏽 Sending love and light from north cackalack!
I LOVE RASING CANE'S! The coleslaw, Texas toast and fries are very good but the chicken is my favorite. But the sauce is the bomb! I order three sauces when I get my chicken fix. Love, love it. I can't wait to order it extra crispy.
I waited 3 or 4 months after ours opened to check it out. Chicken is not crunchy enough, I asked for extra sauce and was charged for the sauce. Not enough room for customers to sit and eat, I would give them 6 out 10.
Never heard of it before but its wild they took a childrens menu item and made a franchise around it. Next time tell them well done and it will be crunchy. Myself I like the golden brown.
Try Saad’s on 45 and Walnut. One of my favorite go to spots in Philly. Also I want to hear yout opinion on Country Cookin in the Fresh Grocer, popular spot to go get food as well.
Love the new series, If you do a chicken place again maybe get a combo box cos sometimes the chicken pieces or wings slap and the tenders are trash and visa versa
So short videos. But still got 2k. Well damn. U need a little longer. Can't speak for no one else. Enjoy the raising cane's. We don't have one where we are at. But their building one not too far from me... One JL. Hope all is well with your wifey... ❤️🐞
Keep up this series, it adds a new element to the channel that’ll bring in more people
Cain"s? No way!
Zaxby's? Hell yeah!
Good stuff. We dont always need new new places. You'd be surprised how many people wonder your opinion on regular everyday franchise establishments.
That’s good to hear. Thank you for the feedback

There will be 3 locations coming to New Jersey in 2023. I believe in Mercer and Burlington county.
Where is this ?? In Jersey

I agree! I used to work at canes too… like a 4/5 outta 7… DECENT spot not too crazy
That’s hell funny he ran into people in line waiting for the chicken who said it was trash lmao..why u in line then 😂🤦♂️
" tastes like straight up refrigerator" 😂
Yea the tenders and the sauce are the best thing going At Cane’s
I live in Baton Rouge, LA where Raising Canes was first started. The chicken fingers are a bit smaller now than they used to be.
We didn't get em in New Orleans until 2004

They are about to open one here in Towson, MD not too far from Towson State University
I'm out here it's a place just like them but in my opinion better n more of a variety there called Zaxbys there based out of Atlanta though

Raising Cane's shoulD be, and coulD be poppin' there, buT it all depends on the folks cookin' (or rather in this case, undercookin' it)!!! 🍗
Gotta get it crispy all the way next time! Tastes better and it’s guaranteed more fresh 🎉
He tripping. Canes be busting! With the sauce though. Probably that one he had wasn't just cooked
🔥🔥🔥 they all over in Minnesota...
Damn I was gonna try this place out in Cali, but now I'm not sure if I wanna waste my money haha. Good look on the video though
Just because he didn’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t try it
I’ve try it in Vegas and LA , both spots 🔥🔥🔥
It’s the sauce that makes it .. gotta get a large sauce and the gallon of lemonade only way to do it!
You switched it up a little. I like that. I hope you can do this every Friday.
