And talking to the locals is really what you do well, because it is quite evident that you are genuinely interested in local people, and this is so alluring for the viewer. Your ability to be candid and not hide issues is another reason your content is so compelling, as it gives a potential traveller a better appreciation of what they will see, rather than a curated view that isn't honest. Continue to call out the pretenders, and please keep recommending good channels that are worthy of our time. Really good work, and it shows in the subscriptions - congratulations!

I went to Buyukada Island, it’s a larger island and great to get some island life, had some character, beautiful nature and interesting old houses. Had a good walk around 😊 Nice break from busy Istanbul

Stay positive, lots to be thankful for in life, the two of you are living a good one! Never mind the inauthentic and less creative ones on YT (They fill their niche) and you and a few others show us a more authentic side of places beyond the tourist hubs of "must see's and do's". A agree wholeheartedly on the cringiness of shoving tips and showering someone with a months salary. I find it wrong and distasteful on many levels. Did you stay in the Asian side of Istanbul? It was sooo much nicer and cheaper than the Euro side. I went on those ferries too they were hella cheap. Is it still cheap there? The inflation was insane two years ago.
We stayed in Moda and hated it man was gentrified and full of weirdos. Was only chilling working tho! It's not cheap at all it's super overpriced close to Europe prices!

@EllisWR Tunisia should be an interesting watch .. I prefer seeing how ordinary people live around the world mainly places where technology hasn't overpowered human skills and traditions. Indian countryside, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Cambodia etc ,remote places and island communities. Eastern Russia , Alaska and Africa ..
Wish you would have looked a little closer at the only thing that was beautiful on that beach, all the purple flowers that were on the side of the hills. They looked like Morning Glories.
