So glad so many people came out of the woodwork to talk about how this song is their favorite. It was genuinely a special experience listening to this song for the first time and it's easily my favorite as well. It's just a beautiful song. Love live melody.
This is the one. Whole EP is masterful but this one resonates on a whole nother level. ‘Lisette’ was my favorite song from you guys and this is like a sequel in all the best ways.
Is the riff from 1:57 a reference from classical music, or maybe specific folklore music from some european culture ? It's almost like I heard that somewhere ; it's so good !
Overwhelmingly haunting and drowning in the glitz and glamour of the damned and desolate souls. The cascade of horrifically beautiful melodies is something of invocation. The feeling of the fourth and fifth circles in a fury lashing around the perspective of the listener. Excellent work y'all!
Been so laser focused on Vildhjarta (and HLB) ever since 2009 that now I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do on all the good stuff that surfaced in the meantime. A Rabbit hole I should’ve tumbled down way earlier. 😅
@@DeltaDgtlAnimation Denis Savchuk, Nemertines, Fractalize, Car Bomb, Stoort Neer, Hjarna Waves, Animals as Leaders, Koronal, Sequence of Discord and more Mirar =D those are the pick of the bunch for me (next to Meshuggah obviously)
Hi, first time Mirar listener here. Stumbled onto this purely by accident. Guys. That closing riff. The way the bottom notes hit while I'm driving in the car is unlike anything I've ever felt. The only thing I can compare it to is Vildhjarta's Kaos 2, Toxin, etc. There is a common thread in those songs with very disgusting sounding bottom note play. I real
Yeah the riffs are insane and all but honestly these are the hardest hitting drums out there right now. Do they sound super realistic? No, but who the fuck cares when it sounds like the earth is about to crumble beneath the sheer power of the kick and snare. Wish I knew how they do it, what samples etc. Yeah slow attack fast release comps hurrdurr but this is something more
Well applied parallel compression can make kicks and snares pop out like this. Also probably some electronic Kick/snare samples alongside metal sounding ones. I recently found that blending in kicks/snares found in dubstep with acoustic drum samples can sound like absolute cinema. Combine all of that with a loud and compressed master bus and it might do 😬 still, the production in this is unreal.
Who tf are you? Where did you come from? That closing interlude - omfg this is amazing and baroque and gorgeous. I swear I already know this song in orchestral form somehow. Omfg
I would try to agree with you normally, but mirar is a band where lyrics are not needed and/or not wanted in the first place. This would be completely ruined if vocals were added…
@@leopard2a786 I totally understand and agree. That's why I said "and not ruin the song" too. It's a challenge to accomplish the impossible... and also a facetious one.
One of the most beautiful songs on earth
...and beyond.
That diw album in your pfp is sick btw
That ending riff 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

My favorite from the EP. The contrast of beautiful melodies and brutal heaviness makes this song so powerful
That outro riff is the actual best piece of music I've heard in my life.
This is a masterpiece! The most dissonant, thall and beautifully tragic song I’ve ever heard ✨
1:56 the second i heard that riff when they posted it on insta, i knew whatever they put out was gonna be my favorite project of the year
My favorite
1:22 until the end is a really serious competitor for my all time favourite Mirar moments/sections. I'm in awe man. wow :)

God speaks through you. There is no other explanation for how wonderful this is.
The melodic section in the end is probably one of the greatest moments in the EP. Absolutely mental
That ending riff is one of the most heartbreaking sounds I've ever heard.
The best Thall song ever written.
Beautiful and stunning.
0:42 - 0:48 is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard
Yeah it's perfect.. that blast back in is 🔥🔥
I am actually failing to come up with adjectives to describe how that part makes me feel.
@@DrewShotwell lifted, and then drowned
2:55 THIS IS HOW THESE GUYS HAVE FUN... THE MOST FRIVOLOUS BIT OF THE ALBUM SO FAR. quality. really good
My favourite song from the EP, I keep listening to it again and again. The melody is absolutely beautiful.
0:39 those swells are sooo nasty it makes my face ++Thall++
This is the definition of 'jaw dropping'
This album needs a physical release.
This is probably my favorite song off the EP, something about it almost brings tears to my eyes for some reason 😭😂
imo that ending riff is on par with the ending riff on +den spanska känslan+

This is the best one
This is my favorite track so far, very unique, this is really good
Calling this thall is disrespectful, this is different in a very good way
I have returned to the comment section just to say how incredibly underrated this song is
I can't tell you how much I love this song
Cara nunca tinha ouvido esse estilo antes, que foda vei🥲
Estranho como essas músicas dessa banda conseguem ser MUITO pesadas mas MUITO leves ao msm tempo
This one is something special.

Do you have any recommendations? I find it quite difficult to find the good ones :D

I real
That 1:56 riff, goddamn it's like they channeled their inner Invent Animate and fused it with their own thall sound.
De loin la meilleure de l'EP ⛰
there are bits and parts in other tunes that i love but this one is my favourite. masterclass in thall.
Beautiful 🖤🖤🖤
This is god damn gorgeous. Bravo!
Unequivocally the new kings of heavy music
Otherworldly
Love it 🔥

Probably 500 snare/kick layers and velocity at 127:)

It reminds me of Godflesh drums

Song of the century so far. Just wow

The earth sunk a little when this was dropped
