How much I adore this guy... (If not for anything else) Thank you for being the first Spoken English Coach of an extremely mediocre guy (with an absolutely humble vernacular medium school background) You still inspire the hell out of me.
He is no less than A WORD-GOD.. Look at his quick sense-of-humour....he had a great quality to make others feel comfortable and relaxed in commentator room...i have seen him commentating with great legends as well as newbies..he is flawless with every class... 🙌🙌🙏
Best Interview I have seen! Even if the interviewer has a creepy tone and questioning, the perfectionist sticks to his basics and comes out with positive answers and make the whole interview interesting!
The voice of cricket is an excellent description of Harsha. I love his languid style and the intelligence of his commentary and conversation. A great commentator can paint the picture of the game when you can’t see it. Harsha on the radio did that. One of the best commentators we’ve ever been lucky enough to listen to.
I know right. Now a days you could clearly see he's being careful with his choice of words. But the era has changed. Lot of the public speakers have to do that & you can't blame them every word you say can be taken out of context these days.
Crazy how Harsha was speaking here about India losing the close games and how they were great individually but not as a team and then just after this interview, India won that great series against Australia with a brilliant performance in the 2nd test when they had to follow on and were basically beaten. Maybe the Indian team watched this programme!!

Harsha is one of the best commentator with knowledge on many areas.

He is an avid reader & its wittiness makes conversations more interesting
Just loved watching harsha bhogle sir speak
Good old days when Harsha Bhogle used to speak his heart out with minimum gesticulations.
I know right. Now a days you could clearly see he's being careful with his choice of words. But the era has changed. Lot of the public speakers have to do that & you can't blame them every word you say can be taken out of context these days.

Though I despise this Thapar guy yet I will have to say he has done a commendable job interviewing Harsha here ..
Woow he's English is so fleunt
Does Harsha Bhogle speak hindi? 🤣
Yes, he even did Hindi commentary in World Cup 2019
He speaks telegu, hindi, english & Marathi
Why chemical engineering ??
He says chemistry was one of the few things he was good at...
To have a good chemistry with girl friends / wife.
Harsha for PM
23 minutes of education
Chemical Engineering was not something unusual. May be Karan has never heard about it.
At that time (when Harsha did) may be it was not much usual
Creepy Thapar
He is an institution.
