The first minute of this game seems incredibly relaxing. The rest of the game seems like one long panic as you rush from fire to fire, surviving by the skin of your teeth.
nah, it would be like you peeling orange, but it is a whole truck, while you are running, and burned alive.

This game goes from peaceful traffic manager to build an integrated circuit at gunpoint pretty smoothly

this is only because the video was sped up! i've watched alot of videos of the desktop version and it has never bothered me until now
Oh, so you create no-where roads to avoid spawns. That's the trick.
Also: Strategically connecting houses for future development, keeping colors on separate roads, avoiding traffic lights and round-a-bouts (and all intersections), keeping a specific amount of houses per building and not integrating all sections of each color branch, using diagonal sections for increased speed, abusing motorways to create extremely short roads from distant locations, and a healthy amount of luck. Even using all these strategies and spawn blocking, you need luck too. This high score probably took 20+ attempts at least.

A random couple who decided to live at the busiest area where they dont fit at all and has to work at the edge of the map: "welp guess I did a poor real estate choice and now I'm telling everyone to move out because of my problem"

This isn't possible on PC, they reduced how many roads you get considerably thus forcing you to use roundabouts and traffic lights.

This looks like a game for someone that knows how to cook, where as I have to use a rice cooker specifically designed to cook then shut-off when the rice is done because I'd somehow freeze it while it boils over an open flame.

This game seems More complex than mini metro, IM DEFINETLY GETTING THIS GAME

I find MiniMetro to be the more complex one. The visual cues in MiniMotorways help a lot. Metro is a jumble of shapes that are hard to make out, imo.
The only problem is that you can actually play mini metro forever if you had enough trains to catapult the extra people. With Mini Motorways you can't pick up cars.
Although admittedly it's a lot better because of the road tile system which is customisable and like you said the shapes are bad for recognition

@@cinnamonjam9173 I believe this way he prevents new big buildings appearing in this spots. Diagonal road (1 piece of resource) blocks all 4 squares.

@@SecretNinja22 I think that's the point of any puzzle: Understand the internal functionality, Find the most efficient way to use the knowledge, Apply the method.
It would also be nice if you could paint the roads so you can track what line is for what colors

I think they need to add a land bridge option so you can put roads over each other even if it was limited to 1 tile.
I agree, but I'm sure the reason they didn't was so that people would use the freeways.
@@jshi3 freeways increase speed of cars with a downside of no connection points. There should be a slower speed but connection points bridge

No way this is possible on PC, you get twice as much road tiles ..
Maybe even more than twice, they reduced how many roads you get considerably.
@@singed420snowinit9 I have a high score on PC that beats this and another just under, and in the late game on PC i have often have > 100 spare roads and simply dont need them any more. But in the early game it sure would be nice to have extra spare to block spawns.

I don't get, how your houses nearly always spawn in one place. all your orange, black, light blue and dark blue houses are on the same spot.

Okay. So, a civil engineer definitely cannot beat this.. You need to be an electronics engineer.. He is clearly designing a PCB.. Keeping all the tracks separate...
If doing this well is this stressful, then it's not the game for me.
It´s not stressful at all, you can just sit back and relax but don´t expect to beat any highscores. If you are very competitive and wish to beat said highscores then I bet it will be stressful, you can simply play it as a little fun game, it´s inexpensive and easy to get into.
Yeah! It's like Tetris! You can do great at it, but the better you are, the longer the chaos just ensues when it starts to get bad.

On steam version I couldn't do that road block tactic. I was at 3.314 and my old PC froze. And whoever plays the game, you don't have to connect every house to the places. That's the trick in my opinion
Yeah the game is very bad at optimization. It uses more CPU and cranks my fans louder than when I'm playing AAA games. And the game starts dropping frames after 2 hours or so of playing and needs a restart of the game (memory leak I suppose l

This is the truth about this game, if you wish to build a road that applies the real concept of urban planning, just dont play this game, just play cities skyline or what ever the city building that uses the same concept, this game is just for fun, no realism whatsoever
Houses can not spawn next to skyscrapers or regular stores so don’t waste road preventing spawns that are never gona happen
The game lagged imensely at my computer when my score got over 2000, and I was playing far from the highest resolution :(

This is amazing.
So, here's some hecl about this game.
Your city grows so fast it has to shut doen because it overgrew itself and the consumers couldn't keep up with the production, so the ENTIRE city shut down because of how good and productive it was.
Also, ALL of this happened in the span of half a year. HALF A YEAR. If a city grew this fast, we'd've devestated the PLANET long before we could even get the tech to think about the world.

Is it somehow better to leave houses unconnected?
I think it's a matter of if the businesses are doing fine without all the houses and it would just use up roads and clog up the roads for other colors sometimes you want to wait to connect them.
Its not like mini metro where station is both supply and demand, in this game the house is fine when not connected to road as long as the shop can get enough of them. Connecting bad spot house will only cause more traffic jam

So what are the required ratios? 3 houses to small building and 6 to big?
In my experience, one house to one building is enough in the beginning, if they are close enough.
If they are too far apart, the 3rd order would pop-up before the first car finishes returning to its house.
I suspect the orders pop-up faster as the game goes on, but I can't confirm.

Can confirm I topped my record by 500 by using this spawn blocking technique and the technique of segregation and not connecting in annoying houses. Very successful.
