    Need AWD, love the convenience of a hatchback and require all of this in a fun to drive, reliable package? Mazda has just the product for you - the 2017 CX-3.
    Entering its second model year nearly unchanged, the Mazda CX-3 remains a strong contender in the compact crossover market. Built off of their small car platform, the expected levels of fun, frugality and simplicity abound here despite a slightly raised stance and all weather capability with the available AWD.
    Standard equipment is nothing to snuff at either. Alloy wheels, 60/40 split rear seats, push-button start, rear view camera, and a seven inch color touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth audio/phone come on even the base Sport trim. Step up to a Touring and gain niceties such as heated leatherette front seats/mirrors, keyless entry/start 18" alloy wheels and optional Bose speakers. Grand Touring models top all of that off with leather, auto climate control, power moonroof and a heads up display that Mazda calls "Active Driving Display". The i-ACTIVSENSE Package is available on the GT and includes radar cruise control, smart city brake support, lane departure warning, high beam control and automatic lights and wipers.
    That's a lot of stuff packed into a nimble little machine! Thankfully it doesn't detract from the drive, which is enjoyable. With the motto of ensuring driver and car are one Mazda ensured that the CX-3 has fluid steering, adept brakes and a compliant ride. Road, wind and engine noise are hushed but not squelched.
    Top this little ute off with a roof rack, load it up and set out on your weekend getaway. Not only will you arrive in style, but you'll have fun doing it.
    Grappone Mazda is located in Bow, NH just south of Concord and only 20 minutes from Manchester. Conveniently located at the intersection of I89/I93 - come see why we are Driven to Amaze!

    Perfect description: a nice AWD hatchback.

    Thanks! Very good review style: simple, natural, detailed. Subscribed. Maybe, I'd like to see a bit of off-road capabilities, since the car is AWD.

    Beautiful fall colors there! It's been such a warm few months here in NC so we're behind schedule. It seems like you all sell the Toyotas and Hondas on one lot and maybe Chryslers and Fords on others because it looks like a huge automotive dealership you've got going. From one of your biggest subscribers, keep up the good work!

      We have been so fortunate to have a gorgeous fall this year kbw1970, many have been commenting on just how vibrant the colors have been and the length they have stuck around. You are very astute! We sell Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda and Ford. Ford/Mazda is on one lot, the other three are separate, though all right next to each other - we are "one Grappone" here. If you are ever up here visiting, stop by, we'd love to meet a subscriber!!

    Considering buying one. Just be me and one asult son. We may drive to Arizona from TN. We are use to small SUV but rather have a small for the famiky will down size in two years. I rather not drag a larger car anymore. If so this will be my first new car.

    Is there a big difference between 16" wheel amd 18"wheel? My dealer told me the height of the car is fixed, so there is no difference except the looking... He also mentioned that the smaller wheel is safer than the bigger wheel in the winter time if you drive on a snowy road because smaller wheeler has less touching surface to the road.....

    • @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup
      @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup  7 років тому

      There are the obvious differences such as looks and snow traction (taller sidewalls typically help cut through snow better). You will notice a difference in handling between the two, the 18" rim has lower profile tires and thus less tire to compress giving a better feel in corners. The 16" rim will be less expensive to put new tires on however. Either choice has compromises - just have to choose which is best for you!

    Hello everyone this cx3 reworked? or still same 2015 model cx3?

    • @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup
      @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup  7 років тому

      Hi Oliver Quiin, this 2017 Mazda CX-3 is the same as when it was born in 2015. It is not very often that a manufacturer makes changes to a vehicle in just two model years.

    I was wondering as buick encore 2017 ( here in europe mokka x , released recently ) comes with more rear room & commanding view and more equipped , why mazda cx3 ? I know cx3 is one of the best (if i dont say the best ) among cuv 2016-2017 !
    The only thing i can think of is the engine 1.4 turbo vs 2 Natural A .

    How is the acceleration? Is it spirited or does it just get the job done?

    • @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup
      @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup  7 років тому

      Michael, spirited is not how I would describe it. It gets the job done without a problem but this is not a pocket rocket.

    • @vitalisjakubauskas9567
      @vitalisjakubauskas9567 5 місяців тому

      Pocket rocket begins from weight/power ratio 16 pounds per hp and less.
      Cx3 has kinda 20.
      Nippy but not pocket rocket.

      PS. Britishes would say "king of B roads". Meaning driving at narrow, curvy and not too smooth roads.

    Mazda should redesign this CX3 to make it a bit roomy and a bit longer at least at par with Honda HRV or the new Nissan Kicks.

      I totally agree! Also, if the CX3 had the new Mazda center console, infotainment screen and the new steering wheel this car would be a no brainer for me. At the moment I mean more keen towards the Mazda 3.

    Mazda confuses me; in the Mazda 3 you get power seats and a power (hand) brake. In the CX-3 you don't get those things. I'd want the AWD utility, but at the same time I want power seats and a power brake would be nice.

    • @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup
      @GrapponeAutomotiveGroup  7 років тому +1

      Ontario Andrews I can totally understand your confusion. To help alleviate it, here is a bit of background info. The CX-3 is actually built on the Mazda2 platform, thus it's smaller stature, engine and content. The CX-5 is built using the Mazda3 platform, so you can equip it with extras such as the power drivers seat and it has the electronic parking brake. Perhaps with a redesign in the future Mazda will include these things in the CX-3, who knows! Thanks for checking out our video, subscribe so you don't miss out on our weekly flicks!
