Another great episode - Chase getting banned from WBM will always be a classic story. Can’t wait for Attention Deficit to make a triumphant return with something like “Post Pop: Royally Foiled.”
Thanks Chase & Hunter for a fun listen, really enjoyed it! The H.O. video that Darin was riding in the waves in Tahiti being towed by the helicopter & then recovering back up after getting totally submerged underwater on a BS bunnyhop 180 at the first WSA Nationals in Colorado you were referring to was called "Ready to Rip". And the your first segment in a FLF video was Skurf's Up in 1997 which was between Hit It (1996) & MayDay (1998). Finally, here's a link to my friends, Chase McCaughey & Chase Shaw, riding the "Hover Board" behind my 2002 SAN 210 back in 2015 on Back to the Future Day here in Utah - ua-cam.com/video/X3T2VhtmVng/v-deo.html
I was dying on the wheel spins 😂😂😂 The probability of the wheel landing on the same choice (1 out of 12) 5 times in a row is approximately .000004 or .0004%. Which is 1 in 248,832. Chase, go buy a lottery ticket right now 😂😂😂
1:54:03 nah 60 year old on a foil is getting decapitated bro and 100% not low impact when you hit that damn wing Fuck foiling 1:55:29 “never looked at second waves” am I the only one that tied 140 feet rope together and used the second one as a tiny bump. Smh “creative foilers”
It’s so sad how wakeboarding is a dead sport due to the boats being too expensive. Who can afford a 1/4 million dollar boat??? NOBODY! Wakeboarding should’ve stuck with the standard boat size before the monster sizes came out
Or just go to a wakepark and you’ll realize wakeboarding is not dead and there is still plenty of fun to be had behind whatever kind of tow you can get.
You absolutely don’t need a $250k boat to have the best time ever riding your wakeboard! That’s like saying just because you don’t ride at Snowbird or Brighton or Mammoth or wherever out west you can’t really have fun on your snowboard
@@skurtmcgurt8001 THATS NOT WAKEBOARDING! THATS CABLE BOARDING. ITS NOT THE SAME SPORT. Cable riding is for REAL wakeboarders to train and stay in shape. To be a professional cable rider is as gay as aids

This podcast deserves to blow up! So many good interviews.
This is one of my favorites interviews. Chase is such a great dude. Such an influence to the sport. Behind and in front of the camera.
Chase is the man!
Old Blue and that rave scene were so good 😅 I’m loving this interview. My best friend growing up(RIP Woody) loved Chase

Tell Chase I said foiling sucks. 😉😂
Hey chase, he said foiling sucks
@@grabmatters 😂😂😂
Great episode!. Enjoyed reliving those early wake days in Winter Park and Lake Maitland with Chase and Stakes.
@@grabmatters we need to hear Staker’s perspective on New Crew and the early days of wake.

Chase sounds dope tho I don’t judge him for foiling but there is “low impact” wake maneuvers that can be done all day

@@grabmatters you need the 250k boat to ever dream of going pro. And if you can’t give beginners that option, YOUR SPORT IS DEAD
