I like how Bandit's friendship with Fido developed. It really shows how differently kids and adult make friends. While kids have a much easier time making friends, since they bond through playing, with adults is more... complicated and takes longer for an actual friendship to appear. Fido is actually my second favorite out of Bandit's friends, with Pat being my favorite. Curiously, both Pat and Fido are Labradors, one is yellow and the other is chocolate.
There’s a very specific “postie bike” they mean, by the way. The stereotypical Aussie postman has spent the last few decades turning up on a Honda CT110
They are starting to phase them out though in favour of electric trikes from Switzerland. They reduce polution issues, are (theoretically) safer, and you don't need a motorcycle licence to drive them.
"Café" is among my favorite episodes. Kids making friends, adults making friends, I love Fido for being just as shameless as Bandit in indulging in kid stuff while also giving Bandit an outlet for having adult conversations. And I love that he's the starkest reminder that people have dog names in this world. And of course, Bluey telling Bandit that she'd want to be his friend is perhaps the sweetest family moment in the whole series.
I remember when everyone started shipping Bandit with Fido, lol

I hope you know I genuinely love you as a reactor and especially for this series I always like before even watching the video because I'm so excited 😆
I'm very excited for you to see Sheepdog and Rag Doll. Those are the episodes that start to develop Wendy as more than just the Heelers' neighbour who gets (mildly) tormented by them into a kind mother who just finds their style of play hard to understand.
And Dirt as well. That’s another episode where we see character development for Wendy and Judo.

Bandit and Chilli really have a very healthy relationship. They show that it takes more than just love to make a marriage work. Both sides need to give in order to take. And sometimes, the two sides will argue and disagree and it's important to remember what is more important and see things through the other's perspective. What I also loved is how Bluey was dedicated to "fix" her parents' relationship. Even if the argument was just a trivial thing, she made sure that both Bandit and Chilli would continue to love one another by making the former to express his love for the latter, what is something that couples need to do to keep their marriage alive. And during that effort, Bluey also learned that arguments can actually play a vital part in any kind of relationship. But I have to confess that it was hilarious to see Bingo taking advantage of Bluey's decision to not argue just to get her way...
Yet people still ship Bandit with Pat, Fido, and Wendy (all not in a joking way either), as if they think that Chili is "boring" or that her & Bandit's relationship isn't "solid."
