@@JonasEurich you, miserable punk. Talent is a word that suits one of your children's piano playing. Not BW btw. He is the center of a musical universe.
Man his voice really changed a lot, what smoking, drugs and being fat does to the voice... he still had a very good sounding voice but i think this kind of raw voice type was better used by his brother dennis
@@ltopomcfly5583 Source? You're literally the first person I've seen saying this. I'm pretty sure he wasn't losing his falsetto during Pet Sounds and the reason why he did in the 70s is because... Y'know, he was drinking, smoking and taking drugs every day!? That can do a number on your voice!
Brian's problem had to as much with lack of practice as it did the cocaine alcohol and cigarettes. He was going through a bad bout of laryngitis during this time as well, his vocals on both 15 Big Ones, Adult Child, and MIU are much cleaner. It's also to important to remember that Brian was going for a different kind of sound in the mid to late 70's, most of those weird gruff performances are just how he wanted to sound at the time.
Brian being fat didnt change his voice. in 1983 when he very quickly got skinny he sounded the same as in the late 70s quitting his other unhealthy habits (and getting a voice coach) did change his voice again though by 1985 he sounded different again.
There is no way just that few years of smoking changed his voice this much, Christ I smoked 80 a day for years to zero effect. Unless he was smoking whilst singing 😂
Unbelievable and unexplainable Talent
Talent is not a good word.
@@rudimentaalI think he’s one of the candidates who deserve the title, though.

The musical talent of your children? Ok. BW btw is (in) the center of a musical universe. Don’t kneel, it ‘ll make him nervous.
Brian had talent the man could write classics, rockers, pop, diddy tunes epics and more
The man was living music and we thank Brian for his genius.
sweetest song of all time
I was thinking about this song lately, it's a sweet little tune 🎹
Mona sounds like a real live wire
What a sweet album, a weird one at that. But the beach boys love you is as sweet as sweet gets and as weird as weird gets. Love it
Brilliant. One of his best! 🙂
Sounds a lot like Dennis too
I think it is Dennis
@@dararyan7385 its brian but his voice is just like that due to the drugs he used at the time
It’s definitely Brian
Dennis sings it on Love You
I know you're gonna like Phil Spector
Great to hear him work! Thank you 🎉
Thank you for this gem thank you so much
Excellent!
Brian had bad laryngitis
Moo-maaaaaaa!
Brian’s demo
i'm calling the internet police
That photo better suits I'd Love To Pick You Up. Mona is an infatuation.
I'd Love to Pick You Up is about infantilization
most pointless comment I've come across in a long time, congrats!

@mikedavis8008Awake is from around 1972 and Surf's Up 1966, so not really compatible with gruff 1976/7 Brian.

Is there a link to the audio file anywhere?
Utterly terrible song. Really is indicative of his tragic fate that it's possible to go from writing California Girls to this in a decade
not to burst your bubble but nobody really asked for your opinion here. It’s a UA-cam comment not a music review site, hoss
So...tell me.....how does it feel to be insane?
I absolutely love that you got ratio'd for having such a garbage opinion. Keep that lunacy to yourself next time, buddy.
Your comments have sunken much, much deeper, Bro'.
I think it's one of Beach Boys best songs
