How to induce new growth on paphiopedilums?I have one hybrid paph, which bloomed for me,and it is single fanned , now flower is dried, but plant is not producing new fan, what I do??
I rescued one that was in straight compost, clinging to life outdoors for decades in a dry climate. Anything well drained and airy would work imo. They must be pretty tough, but if that compost had been too wet they wouldn't survive. Another that I got was too small and too far gone to save.
Surprise!! Love the new growths!!! Thanks for sharing!
I Love these kind of surprises Terry. Have a good week.

You can't do anything to force new growth you just have to bide your time and hope all goes well.. I have quite a few paphs doing the same thing.

Bark and perlite mix, yeah?
Yeah.... that would also be OK providing the perlite is the large size variety.
