I must say ac odyssey is easily the hardest game in the trilogy because the Npcs are aggressive towards u. This makes it significantly harder because if ur fighting spartan/Athenian soldiers on the streets sometimes the npcs help the soldiers and while the npcs are pretty weak, killing them raises ur bounty and puts mercenaries on u. They are the biggest annoyance when I played on nightmare.
I agree odyssey was intrinsically bloated with high level npcs that made it really not enjoyable to the point where you would just turn it off and play another game lol
I just got the whole legendary collection for 50 bucks. The game is very annoying but also I don't know what it is bit I kinda like the nightmare difficulty and the long grind. Also I love the time period that the a.c. oddsey game is set in I love spartans.
Origins will always be my favorite. The location & story was incredible. Bayek is easily one of the most fascinating assassins. Especially since Bayek & Aya basically founded the entire thing. Loved every second of the hundred plus hours I played!
Only problem I had with Origins was it seemed like a game that wanted to tell two stories, one of Hellenistic Egypt, and one of Bronze Age Egypt, and conflated the 800 year gulf between the two. The Pyramids were 2,500 years old by that time, the last Egyptian Pharaoh from the 30th Dynasty, Nectanebo II, had been dead for 300 years, yet here we are following a Medjay around. Otherwise it had a great setting, aesthetic, incredible scenery that captured the expansiveness and dryness of the deserts. I think I liked Odyssey more because it captured the color and beauty of Greece very well and knew its historical setting very well. All the characters you meet, from Brasidas to Aspasia to the young boy Plato all lived at that time (430-420 BC).
I feel like, Bayek had much greater character aspect in story, overall story was good, every villian had a backstory and after assassination scenes were great that made assassinations look justified. Egypt as well as afterlife maps were great. For me every question mark on map was like a piece of candy. AC odyssey lacked in something in story and characters. Alexios/K were more of killing machine. also at this stage those question marks on map were more of a chore to be done. DLC maps were great though AC Valhalla itself seemed like a chore after 2 hours of gameplay, story felt too bland so I procrastinate on playing it
Origins was good but the content was a bit short esp the 2 DLC's while with Odyssey story was ok map was a bit to big had few repetative things but overall i will put it every day of the week above Valhalla and i won't speak for Valhalla cause there are only 2 good things about that game, and overall Ubisoft suck atm from left to right even Far Cry 6 sucked
@@tylergaming9956 We respect your opinion bruh, afterall its not a bad game at all, its just repeatitiveness of previous titles that make it feel boring and stale, especially after 2 playthroughs of each one (origins and odyssey) for me😹
My favorite is Origins. - First, the game has a story line associated with previous games. The construction in the context before the assassin guild was born, making its gameplay reasonable and not pushed too far. - Second, the game was built in Egypt, the mysterious civilization, the game has a moderate length, the task is reasonable, this is also the factor that makes me appreciate the game. - Odyssey and Valhalla are built with too many mythological elements, especially Odyssey, which makes the game deviate from the rails, even the plot is very disjointed and unconnected. The gameplay is not much improved, the map is large, there are a lot of side quests but the repetition takes place continuously. That suddenly becomes the burden of the player. If you have played through Origins, believe me, you will feel very bored when playing the other 2 games.
Well if you played OG assasins you will find origins boring, but yes it's the best out of these 3, the second question is, is it that big of an achievement.
Another thing that I think origins did better than Valhalla and Odyssey was how they went about the gear upgrade system. In Origins you have your collar [health/armor], hidden blade [assassinaion damage], left gauntlet [warrior damage] right gauntlet [archery damage], that way you would upgrade everything in a balanced manner, so you could still excel at everything. Odyssey split those damages within all the equipment and made it way grindier in order to level up your gear. And with the inclusion of loadouts, made it into a thing where you can do monster damage in one department, but shit damage in the other two.
The reason I loved all 3 of these games is because they take us into so many eras of time that you would never see in a traditional Assassin's Creed game. It's incredible being a Medjay in Egypt, a Misthios in Ancient Greece, and being a Viking.
@@federicomagherini1994watch dogs takes place in the same universe as ac, so odyssey and valhalla totally could've been part of their own title set in the same universe
Odyssey was INCREDIBLE. I know a lot of people said it’s bloated but I loved how there was so much to do. The dlc was the cherry on the cake. Incredible game, incredible story. Origins was great too but odyssey took it for me
Odyssey was my fav ac game (even tho I did like unity a loot too :D) idk it felt great to explore that massive world and have side quests with story bound to them instead of the way side quests are forced uppon you though main quests in valhalla (and the side stuff is actually bs u dont need to bother with in valhalla..)
Hey man I am from greece and I loved odyssey not because I am greek but because of how close to real life is the map the cities and the monuments. Even my home town is really close to real life. The game takes you to a trip in ancient Greece.
I loved Odyssey the most. I completed the whole map and just loved every bit from hunting the cult to getting godlike power. Also I loved Alexios as a character minus all the men prompting me for sex.
People hate odyssey, but I never played it as an ac game, I love Greek history so odyssey is an 10/10 from me. Water physics, Barbaras, kassie, soundtrack, locations. Are just beautiful heart ♥️
I never really understood why people would hate it. For me it's probably the best AC game (although i haven't played Unity yet). Most people would say AC2 (Brotherhood) would be the best. But i recently played AC2, AC2: B, Black Flag and can't get over the feeling that they feel a bit dated. Not only graphics, but gameplay-wise as well. Plus: i was always fascinated by ancient greece, loved the story of Kassandra and Layla and the game world overall.
@@Pendragon667 okay as a long time fan of the series with it being my favorite franchise here is the run down. Origins and blackflag are my favorites Blackflag the story and characters are utterly amazing and can get me to the verge of tears everytime. Gameplay was fun and new with expanded navel and (some) combat options. Origins a breath of fresh air beautiful to look at and fun to play, the combat is exciting and intuitive. Setting is breathtaking, and story is intriguing for both new and old fans, that brings together so many facets of the series. Now..... I hate odyssey not just as an assassin's creed game, I think it is substantially worse than Origins by far. Voice acting sub par, settings can use some improvements, story bland and basic, Parkour worse than origins, combat boring, steath meh, characters forgettable. and I'm saying all of this while having throughly looked forward to it during release... it pains to hate it so especially since I toughed it out during the rough unity and syndicate days, and LOVED Origins so... And one thing that is a fault inherently cause it is assassin's creed game, but purely for in the sense of writing they broke the world's rules and never explained... Why can we make choices... Origins started to explain it, but it never was brought up in odyssey. And from a story perspective that is really bad... Valhalla I refused to play, until ubisoft starts listening to fans I refuse. mirage SEEMS to be a return to formula. But that isn't even what I necessarily want as I loved Origins and that was not like the old games. Odyssey just isn't as good objectively speaking you may like that is fine, but compared the one a year prior Origins it is FAR FAR inferior.
people always following social media not experiencing with themselves , if the social said the game is trash its done people will hate it without trying it 😐
I've played Odyssey and Valhalla twice each (as all 4 characters) but am giving Origins a go for the first time. I prefer Odyssey so far simply because of the ancient Greek setting, which interests me. I love AC in general because of the fact you can climb literally anything. I'm currently playing Watchdogs: Legion and the fact that you can't even climb over a 10ft fence/wall is frustrating.
For me, the one with the most enjoyable story is Origins, but Odyssey's decision making changes the story and that makes the player to be involved in the character's development, which is more interesting; on the other hand, Valhalla's combat system (with the stamina and stuff) makes the game harder because you have to be aware of your movements and the stamina you spend while dodging and attacking
The point of the stamina, for me is the complete opposite. I agree that it makes the game harder in certain aspects, but i feel like its very strange to the saga, seen that any other games never had this kind of mechanicals before and i think its a little annoying to the game
I got platinum in Odyssey and Origins. Valhalla is awesome but door is always barred, I hate it. Origins - better story Odyssey - better open world and unlimited side missions Valhalla - variety with more content and better combat animations. Odyssey is easily my favorite due to naval combat, hunting underwater treasures, beautiful world, Ancient Greece is my fav.
@@Barco-b8k Black Flag will always be the King when it comes to epic Naval combat and some ships in that game are actually op. Odyssey's navel combat is poorly balanced because it's too easy unless you're really early in the game. Even the cult ships were too weak, especially if you have the Legacy of the last blade DLC.
Odyssey is my favourit basically because of the general setting. I love ancient Greece and i think they did a pretty good job in creating the open world of Odyssey. I also liked Valhalla, because im from Norway and the general culture and setting in the game is very accurate, and it all feels very familiar. The Wrath of the Druids dlc was also very good.
Funny that because I am from England but can't relate to anything about Valhalla whatsoever, particularly the rivers that are somehow magically all connected together.
@@jenniferhill2123 England is filled with Canal and artifical waterways today that didn't exist in the early middle ages. The only place you'd find a lot of interconnected waterways in that time in England would be the Fens.
Origin the best imo....we see where the cutting of ring finger originated and the story is very rich...I especially learned a lot about Pharaoh's era because of this
I would say Origins is best overall. Especially Bayek character agenda was very personal and actor bring the best performance.... Odyssey although i love Kassandra VA performance but she is lacking the emotion like Bayek has, probably if they r focusing her as a solo character the outcome would be better. Valhalla. Yeah thats my gripe on these 3 titles...
For me personally it was Odyssey. The setting, family moments/ death of a certain someone, cult and Atlantis ending was a great payoff and I just enjoyed the speed of the gameplay is all...(most of my gear was assassination focused with combat on the side)
Im a sucker for adventures and stories that have a LOT going on. Good or not..Odyssey kept me invested for more than 400 hours now. Its the most fun and complex game, considering all the stats, builds, RP-G and play styles,. World is absolutely gorgeous. Odyssey is more challenging that other games (except Unity..I can't master that game at all HAHA). Odyssey is the world I'd lose myself in every time..Sure it has flaws but then again, every game does. Plus..I love the amount of content im the game
Agree completely. I'm in my second playthrough of Odyssey right now. Think I played it like a year ago or something? I also think the Odyssey DLC's are awesome compared to some other games. Like you said, is it a perfect game no. Is it a TOTAL grind at first, ABOSLUTELY but I'm like 110 hours in and I fully intend on doing it all again. Oh, and I think Unity was my first AC game as it was on like super sale and I HATED it haha.
Odyssey is one of the best games i ever played, the landscape, the story and even the music, i just love it! Valhalla was ok but i didnt even finish it ...
Bruh I'd rather platinum origins/oddysey again than play even 10 mins of Valhalla, seeing how goofy the Ragnar sons are made me close the game for good.
Valhalla Great gameplay, Odyssey Great World, Origins Great Story.. Each are unique and beautiful. 10/10 for Odyssey, I love the architecture. Both AC Origins and AC Valhalla 9/10..
I have only played Origins so far since my laptop can't handle Odyssey up to Valhalla. But I like Origins so far. Bayek's journey for revenge is good and having him talk with his enemies and finding out their purpose and reason is really enjoyable for me. But I can't compare it to the other two since I haven't played them.
playing Odyssey has completely spoiled me in terms of mobility and freedom of movement Like, you can climb over everything and get anywhere no problem. Games with limited mobility and those that only let you climb where they want you to climb (like Tomb Raider reboot games for example) felt suffocating and frustrating in comparison
That is exactly why I can't get into the earlier AC games because for a game thats suppose to be about jumping and climbing and parkour the amount of places I was expecting to be able to climb that I couldn't was really annoying. I also hated that in the earlier games you could only crouch where the game let you and not when you wanted and also I hated the control system too! All these annoyances were totally addressed in Odyssey and if you had told me a year ago that one of my all time favourite games would be an AC game I would have climbed up the side of your house, slipped into your bedroom and slitted your throat whilst you were sleeping!
@@B-A-L so you are one of the people who wants it easy... The old Assassin's wanted you to think HOW to climb someplace. Look for the perfect spot. Complex maneuvers were hard and the parkour limited to you not just press 2 buttons and climb, it was not just a feature, it was gameplay! Things were not addressed in Odyssey, they were simplified, the old parkour sistem was A LOT more difficult to develop in terms of game developing. The new sistem is just lazy cus the game is enormous and almost has no true place you can climb
@@felipebritto9554 Exactly. This total freedom of mobility took away any meaning from climbing. These games might as well be all flat, open fields if you can just climb anywhere.
Hands down Origins. If you’ve been a fan from the beginning than you can see how origins was a HUGE breath of fresh air. Just finished the story line and still see myself getting back on to complete more quests. Absolute S TIER
I honestly can't see myself playing it again, how can I when I completed it 100% and got all trophies...but those were really good times, all 128 hours.
I joined AC a year ago and played Black Flag first because I wanted to play a pirate game. Then the more I learned about AC, I wanted to play new trilogy so I played Odyssey and Origins, I loved Odyssey more and didn’t understand why original AC fans liked Origins more because they resembled to the original more. So I decided to play AC2 and AC3, the more I understood why original AC hits differently and Origins resembles original a lot more. Now Odyssey felt a lot more like Warrior’s Creed, just a Spartan game to me but I still enjoyed Odyssey. Now I appreciate Origins more for its story because I played AC2 and AC3, I’m glad I understood now.
@@sonfable8809 been playing ac since the first game came out, origins is 100% the best for what he said. The ones after it can’t even be called an ac game and they’re pretty bad rpg’s
Odyssey was the one for me, it just included everything other ac games had. Except the on field synchronization where you'd be able to see through walls but that would be OP. Although origins fluidity and flawlessness of the engine with barely any glitches or lag was an amazing feeling to have in game. ac 2, black flag, untiy, origins, odyssey, and valhalla were all huge successors of one another in my opinion.
@@skjarall I respect all of that but for me when I play an "Assassins Creed" Game, I want it to be about Assassins creed, I love valhalla and origins but they aren't Assassins creed games to me.
Origins has the complete package of all the assassin's creed, it was open world RPG but it still had assassin's creed roots and I love the story. Odyssey had little assassin's creed elements and it look like a completely new game. Mostly open world RPG and it could have been another game. Valhalla is all over the place the only assassin's creed elements are the order of the ancients and synchronization. The story feels out of place and I feel like his assassination have no purpose like you are killing people just for your clan.
"Ac odyssey has most realistic NPCs"....Meanwhile the NPC sees Kassandra maul 15 elite soilders to death using A sword and Bow that has fire abilities...*Proceeds to fight Kassandra with a broom.
For me, Number one is Origins. I was always interested in and loved the time-period of Ancient Egypt, even though the one in Origins is already late, late Egyptian-period, more like the "downfall" of Ancient Egypt (keep in mind the Egyptian-period lasted for over 2500 years; Cleopatra is actually closer to our time than she is to the construction of the Pyramids, let that sink in). You know when you sometimes sit there and just think "Man, I wish I could go back in time and just see how everything looked back in the day. Alexandria, the Pyramids, the villages. The vibrant colors and the Nile River" and I think Ubisoft does a great job in giving us the actual opportunity being able to interactively visit those places. And now we are about to even see Bagdad and later feudal Japan!!! How cool is that? Imagine living in the 1800s and the only thing you ever heard about Egypt, Greece or Feudal Japan was some words from a book or word of mouth... we actually get to go there without huge efforts on our part. Even though not everything is exactly how it was back then, obviously, but you get a glimpse of what it could've been and you can even interact with it. Rather than watching a short Documentary or something for an hour. You can explore, you can climb, you can experience all of it, in it's glory. For a moment you can forget that you are living in 2020/22 and teleport back to 44 -49 BC (or 431-422 BC). Same goes for AC: Odyssey - Ancient Greece comes right after Egypt for me, therefore it was really nice to experience that too. Meeting Sokrates, Perikles, Pythagoras, seeing Athens... - wow. Ubisoft could even completely go a separate way of AC and just make games that go back in time and do a random story they want - I would buy most of the games, just to experience the time periods. They already went that kind of way with the 'Discovery Tours' for Origins and Odyssey which are, from a learning perspective, really really cool! Imagine just being able to actually interactively visit the a city in Ancient Egypt instead of some boring drawn picture or old video or something. Story/Fun wise though Origins was way better, it had more of a red string you could follow, and an actual story behind the character that was interesting and gripping. I'm kinda sad though that the DLCs for Origins were rather disappointing tbh compared to all the DLCs Odyssey got. Origins will always have a special place in my heart though. Same goes for the very first ACs I have never given Valhalla a real chance as of yet (maybe later this year) - but I was actually looking forward to the game; Vikings, England etc. and all the features. But once I heard how the game is stretched out so extremely hard that it feels like a huge chore I just lost interest right quick.
You just described what it’s like playing video games in general. It’s like a portal. It sucks you in and makes you lose yourself in it the world. The same can be said for books.
Yeah good points, not only is valhalla streched out, but it's one of the best recorded time periods and they basically wasted the setting's potential. Take all the netflix series coming out that share the same setting and time period, valhalla just feels like they tried to make a viking game, and were forced to make it assassin's creed; And it's kind of bland because it's not good at being either.
I love all of them! Every of them is unique in their own way. I love ancient Egypt. I love ancient Greece and of course Vikings. but Odyssey is my favorite because the map is so large. Love it!
Crazy to see all the different feedback. My favorite was definitely Odyssey. The best part of it were the solid amount of plot twists. There didnt seem to be much surprise in other games. Origins was alright, but i didnt enjoy the gameplay much. Valhalla seems great so far. I love the story and how it all ties together. The only thing that its missing is a solid amount of intrigue.
Odyssey is my favorite due to the gameplay and world. AC Black Flag was my favorite of the older games, so I thoroughly enjoy sailing and exploring. Origins, I love the setting. I always liked desert areas in most games. Valhalla is good and the combat is pretty fun. I'm glad they added other things to do like fishing.
My opinion. Origins: the best one, better story, protagonist and combine really well the RPG mechanics with AC gameplay. Odyssey: the most fun, the world like in Origins is beautiful, the mercenaries mechanic is like Shadow of Mordor captain mechanic and i like it, Alexios is ok (is my main and i know Kassandra is the protagonist), lost some of the AC style but even not being a AC in many aspect it still a enjoyable game. Valhalla: i don't like this one, neither characters, side quest and even the protagonist, this one and Liberation are the worst AC games for me.
Origins is honestly the only game that justifies its existence among these games. Parkour is rudimentary because it wasn't developed, assassinations were basic because there weren't any techniques centred around it. Story was brilliant, the voice acting was excellent. So many brilliantly written quests. My favourite part is egypt though. They did such a great job with the desert (hallucinations) and explorable locations that I actually wanted to explore it. Perhaps the only cool thing the other games did was how they showed the birth of templars in valhalla and gave us Basim. Odyssey is pretty much irrelevant to me as an ac game.
Even the side quests in Origins felt like it fit, since Bayek's role is the medjay or whatever. The only gripe I had was having to carry so many NPCs out of places. It's like they really didn't want to make it so the guys can just sneak out, I mean some do but if you played Origins enough you know exactly what I'm talking about with carrying NPCs. Odyssey is like if they focused on the RPG elements created for Origins and made a Greece expansion DLC for Origins yet it was way too large, idk how else to describe it. It really wasn't a bad game but it's like a giant god of war dlc for Origins, like for real. Valhalla is definitely more toned down on that but whoever designed the main quest line was smoking something. They could have removed a a shire or 4 from the unification requirements, like sciropshire, I remember the name but for the life of me don't remember what happened in that, also what was hamtunscire if winchester was already it's own thing? It's been awhile since I last played so maybe I'm forgetting something but they could have definitely condensed some of the main quest, maybe removed some borders, like let's be real did Jorvik and Eurvicshire have to be it's own region? They could have really shrunk things down in my opinion
@@kayleecampbell2123 Odyssey and valhalla really favoured quantity over quality. Vast expanse of just recycled textures and outposts. Compare that with origins and the world map is just filled with so many details. You can really tell which of these was a passion project and which ones are a cash grab.
Voice acting was exellent? Really?!? Bayek must be one of the worst ever in ac series. Yes story itself is good but voice acting come on dont even start its so horrible. Dialogs are so NPC i dont understand how anyone could say voice acting is good in origins. Not to even talk about the shit audio quality, when its sounds like it was recorded in chamber.
15:24 0 snow interaction! U don’t leave a trail unless ur on the ground, the snow won’t fall of when u walk on buildings or grab onto them, and if it’s snowing outside, the snow will not build on your clothes! 2020 game 💀
I mean you don't have to use those armors or buy the helix stuff, I always used the default armors in all 3 games and think they by far suit and look the best
@@Kwuivery No, he is referring to the stuff on the Helix Store, in which you have to pay for the skins and other items in the store. For example, in Valhalla there are some skins that are like Nordic Magic, it doesn't have the Isu look, (which is well different but it is not out like those items I have mentioned)
Odyssey is the on for me out of these three. Origins combat felt stiff and a little underworked, but Odyssey felt like it polished the combat and expanded on it. Of course I prefer the original combat system of assassins creed over this new combat system, im playing an assassins creed game, I don’t want to be brawling in the street like some gladiator.
I enjoyed Odyssey the most. The setting was beautiful compared to the rather dull one of Valhalla. The DLCs were also incredible and the whole fighting system was really cool. I learned to not force an Assassin theme when playing these games, so with Odyssey I could just enjoy a cool Greek mythology game. I played Origins after Odyssey so I only just then realized that it build the groundwork in terms of UI and fighting style and it was also a great game. Looking forward to Mirage because not only does it seem to bring back the Assassins theme but the setting also looks promising. I just hope they make it as vibrant looking as Origins/Odyssey because Valhalla looks a bit washed out for me
I like Odyssey the most of the three but all 3 games have game play functions that I liked. Odyssey wins it because it had a bit of everything in it from past games like ship battles etc.
Not sure about Origins and Valhalla, but in Odyssey, if you synchronize in buildings, you can hold C + Shift and they will do a vertical flip in leap of faith.
I actually appreciate this. I'm just playing Valhalla and want to expand into the AC world but don't want to feel like I'm stepping backwards in terms of graphics quality. Thanks!
Valhalla really disappointed me. I noticed immediately that the climbing was really janky and broken. (I play on console) On the PS4 Valhalla's graphics look horrible and even Origins looked better on the same console. The combat in Valhalla is basically a 1 shot or two shot kill on enemies and there really isn't a challenge unless I go into a higher level area with my amor and weapons. Odyssey is probably my favorite because of the massive boat fights you can have and how upgrading it is actually worth it. The combat is repetitive, but much more fun than Valhalla's. Origins is right behind Odyssey with graphics that are good for it's time. The only complaint about Origins is how slow the horses feel.
Ive played a bit of Origins but recently I started Odessey and I am hooked! All I can think about is hopping in and discovering more of the beautiful world. Origins was chill and I might go back but not till I play a lot more Odessey lol
Odyssey is the best of this group. Its the most diverse, has the most rpg elements and best sude missions. The expansions are dope, your decisions matter, and its the mist challenging. Origins is a close second
I love anything Viking related. Sadly, it is not my first place option. In my opinion it’s a great Viking game, but not a great AC game. I play assassins creed for the story more than anything. So I have to say Origins is the best of the three. The ship battles in Odyssey was ultimately what brought me the most joy, and the fact that you’re like Leonidas’s grandchild.
I mean, if you're playing it for the story and lore then the Isu stuff is extremely exciting. It's a fantastic assassins creed game when you consider that it's driving deeper into the Isu which is like...critical to an assassins creed game. Can't have the games without that Ancient Aliens element. It just wouldn't be AC without it.
Origins. Bayek is fully human. (No demigods. No Allfather). Just human. A father and husband avenging the death of his child. He is the most grounded character with a believable story about the beginnings of the Assassins. Loses his marriage but helps start a movement. A lot of Bayek's identity and emotional trauma are very relatable to the player.
I played Valhalla on release didn’t like it,started again last night and it looks totally different and I think they changed the skill tree I’m actually enjoying it a lot more ,I prefer the old creed games more tho
Valhalla felt so boring comparing to odyssey. You could not make builds, all armor felt the same, the hit feedback was terrible, the skill tree was garbage. I cheated on a 2nd character just to see if you even can feel a difference I maxed out all. Still felt the same. I hope they will not do anything like Valhalla again. Odyssey for me is by far the best of the "newer" acs. It has much content, very good lore and dlcs. Equipment management. All you need is there
Odyssey is the worst in terms of gameplay imo. I play the games just for gameplay and the running animation, horse riding, swimming, nothing appealed me at all. Even the graphics looked worse compared to origins. Valhalla on the other hand nails possibly every aspect on the gameplay side. Doesnt feel rushed at all. Especially the open world of valhalla.
Valhalla would've been fine as an assassin's creed. Just people suck at its stealth so they blame the game, and female odin reborn is the most stupid and ridiculous thing to ever be made canon in the franchise. So people are understandably put off of playing a game about a growly dumb lady who thinks she's a man. If the game had no dialogue option, and only featured male eivor, as odin is and should always be a man, just like all other sages are the exact same every time they're born again... Valhalla has no magic powers, and is the only new game to have social stealth. It easily could've been the most "assassin's creed" out of the new games. If only it wasn't sabotaged by angry hateful feminists.
Odyssey is the best AC ever. It has unique combat system. The game doesnt threaten you with desync. when a civilian is killed unlike others. Either they gather and defend themselves or bounty hunters try to kill you. That s great . Nightmare mode makes it even better. Also, with fascinating views, statues and the sea, the world itself is one of a kind. Love it.
Origins is my fav ...it introduced the system...it gets engaging as story progres.. Odyssey has a great fluid combat and Spartan fury that keeps it a gem.. Valhalla on the other hand the atmosphere is a let down and got repetitive...but as the story progressed the combat felt more engaging though not on level as Odyssey
For me is certainly Odyssey because of the map and beautiful place😍🤩, but also i liked about the person wants to find his family, this so interesting to play, and yes i have question for you, which is the best in your opinion? Please answer 🙏🏻
I genuinely liked Valhalla but there was so much more to do in the other games and the quality was not as good. Out of the 3 odyssey was definitely my favorite. I loved watching the enemies burn, it was so satisfying every time
I think all are great in the own right , but odyessy has the best setting for me , I think these are all 10/10 because remember it’s not a gta game and it’s not COD it’s a rpg assassin game and I rank it on that. I get lost in the game and tbh on my Xbox series x the fps boost is why I give it all 10/10 just trust me , if you’re over 18 and you understand how to follow the directions or explore well this game is for you. It’s not linear , which means you’ll have a hard time finding things like specific treasures. You’ll be lost and forced to use the bird to find where the next location or even animal you need to hunt . All in all when you dive in and actually pay attention ( even though the story is not perfect ) you’ll be intrigued and you’ll have fun . HOWEVER ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE and some people shouldn’t even be playing this game , if you like Zelda , or anything like elden ring give this a go
So Origins is your top 3 and you ignore the fact there are literal assassins and templars in the entire game? In Odyssey there were no assassins back then and if there were y'all would complain it isnt canon. Valhalla is a missed opportunity in these terms but you still kill templars (was possible in odyssey as well) and have assassin friends. Plus there is no rule or anything saying the protagonist must always be an assassin. If you're looking for a game about the creed there's just one game left for you. You don't need to be a hidden one to be an assassin. Assassin=killer
Great games when I'm discriminated against for trying to play a my own demographic for once. Gay male representation is nearly none existing in gaming, but of course misandrists win again, and manahe to force the women who are written like men, as "canon" Despite the hypocrisy.
Odyssey is the best AC ever! Cause i think this game have got the best game engine(in AC games)and i remember i wasnt so happy when i heard the Valhalla use the Origin game engine not the Odyssey.I play a lot of AC games and i think the character moving is so bad in every AC but the in Odyssey is good.
I believe Origins to be a masterpiece and the following two games to be major mistakes in design and more importantly, narrative. Sacrificing the Assassin vs Templar story and ridding the series of the debate between chaotic freedom and controlled safety only hindered the series. Especially when all we got in exchange was a grindy mess where you're more of a superhero than an assassin in a series called ASSASSIN'S CREED! Where I no longer care about the main character and actively in some cases root against them! My major pet peeve with Vallhalla in particular is the narrative. Specifically, who we play as and what we're doing. In this game, I'm expected to raid towns, burn villages, and conquer and enslave the people. As the supposed Assassin sympathizer, shouldn't the MC be focusing more on things like freedom and staying your blade from the flesh of an innocent? Alfred should be the good guy. Taking back his lands from the savages who invaded it. I don't feel like a hero while playing this game. I feel like a monster who raids monasteries and burns down the homes of poor peasents.
You believe origins is a masterpiece and hate the others for not being about Assassins vs Templars? Who's going to tell this person that Bayek doesn't become an Assassin until literally the last mission and that the Templars don't exist yet?
@@Legoboy55able lol i hate you casual fans. Stay out of convos you don't fully understand please. It's called "ORIGINS" for a reason genius. It's the start of the brotherhood/creed. The templars are in the game. They're the order of the ancients. They changed their name over the centuries. The order of ancients --> Templars --> Abstergo industries. The hidden ones --> the brotherhood of assassins. Odyssey was a parody of AC and broke all lore and retconed the story. Valhalla was trying to clean up odysseys mess but failed. Because the damage was too massive.
Love Odyssey but a lot of the animations look super weird and just bother me, like the horse riding and walking animations bother me way more than they should lmao, I wish we could get some more realistic animations like Unity had, but actually polished and smooth. I love almost all the animations in origins especially Bayek’s walk animation, so dope. Not a fan of dodging or horseback animations in that one either tho. Combat in the last 3 games just don’t feel as real or impactful as they use to, feels really floaty. I think the combat is enjoyable but the immersion is somewhat gone for me personally, I want every step my character takes to have at least some weight. More polish and time and they could do something cool with this system but it’s not quite where it should be for an Assassins Creed game.
Origins is the best. The setting of ancient Egypt is unbeatable. Also, Bayek has the most tragic and engaging story. I love Bayek's character so much that I even place him above Ezio
The three are good games with flaws like the increased amount of time with the next entries, so there was a point that I wanted to progress in another assassin's creed to have everything at 100%. But even if they became too long, the plots are very entertaining that can hook anyone.
I have just finished Odissey yesterday and that was the last AC game I hadn't finished yet. Been playing all of them since 2014 I guess, having played all until AC Black Flag twice. Being a hardcore fan, I really really love each of the games and their uniqueness when compared to each other, and the same goes for these 3. I really love them all, love the Origins story and Bayek's journey, with that breathtaking and very entertaining world, also love the evolution of Eivor and the combat system, love exploring England and all, but for me by far Odissey is the favorite. I just love how many activities there are in that game, the endless experiences and impact you can cause with some pretty well crafted storylines, even in places you'd never ever go near just by playing the main story. It's so so colorful and fun, while serious and full os emotion, the combat and enemies are very enjoyable, ship battles, mercenary system, cult, greek stories and legends, the war, the arena. And finally, the chance to relive it all with the opposite gender/choices and have a completely different experience. It's a 10/10 for me.
I love all these games. But for me it’s Origins that takes the top spot out of the trilogy for me. Valhalla is okay and Odyssey was fun. But I see myself coming back to Origins when I want to replay any of these.
Gotta say, AC Odyssey actually gave me the feeling of “damn, the enemy defeated me” when I’m very close to finishing them off but one stupid charge attack enemy use and killed me. Without end game stats, some enemies are kind of hard to deal with. Bandits AC Odyssey are also nightmare. The poison that the dagger inflicts so fast I can even parry it. The spin kick combo when enemies are glowing is also annoying, they do a lot of damage. One more thing, the daughter of Artemis are burning me alive. All of them aim at the same time, I have to keep on rolling.
I like odyssey best by far because u can slaughter civilians and even get rewarded by it with generating bounty. Which I think adds something very big to the whole experience. Amazing still.
Origins has one of the best protagonist. Odyssey has one of the most beautiful environment and battle like combat. Both few of the awesome games I have ever played.
For me... Origin has good AC story, DLC also good, stealth is kinda ok but the world was too empty, not really fun to parkour, side is boring, combat is kinda hard... Odyssey also has good story, side is kinda Fun, combat is less punishing, DLC is very good, world is prettier, parkour is fun since there a lot of city but the stealth is not really fun, no instant kill, no hidden blade(why call it AC if hidden blade not even exist), focus more on direct combat, and the damn cutscene in this game is buggy(long pause/ no voice when talking/cheap animation)... Valhala... not playing yet...
Oddesy is most definitely my favorite I’m glad the way they introduced the idea of powers, and the way the stealth aspect/fighting aspect developed, even the storyline was quite enjoyable kassandra best ac protag easily
Nah, I really disagree with you there, I have played as both characters and Alexios is top tier and Kassandra as Deimos makes a much better antagonist than Alexios as Deimos so choosing Alexios is the ac protag easily no debate
I can understand some of the points except for protagonist. The AC series has some excellent characters like Edward Kenway, Ezio and Bayek. I always felt like the protagonist In Odyssey was a step down whether it was Kassandra or Alexios
Always been a big fan of all the ac series, but odyssey is the best in my opinion. Love warm environments, sea, familiar myths... on the other side valhalla was most similar game to old ac of all trilogy, which makes it worst of them all for newbies like me
Odyssey for me! Best game I ever played. For someone who only play competitive games, I never felt such peace while playing in a long time. Spent 100+ hrs just to forget my reality and see some beautiful places in our past. I'm into Ancient Greek then Vikings but it might not be accurate but the level of presentation in Odyssey is insane. I don't care what people say that Odyssey is not AC but surely because the story is about Ancient Greece and how brotherhood begins. It's no brainer, you are just arguing with yourself if you hating this game because it's not an AC.
I've played PC games for nearly 3 decades. ODYSSEY has to be one of the best game I've ever played. Super immersive. Excellent setting, perfectly executed, great atmosphere, amazing music, insanely fun quests and storyline. You really feel like creating your own legend. Origins and Valhalla were good games too, but neither of them touches Odyssey. From long arching quests to miniquests, they all feel just right and most of the time, you simply don't want to progress the main story, simply because there's so much interesting stuff to do around.
I knoooow, im getting through the main story soooo slowly because I keep wanting to check out every question mark on the map. It's apparently a pretty long story too so maube i should get to it lol
And even the chickens too fighting out of nowhere I was confused and laughing at the same time what is going on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@mrrob8263 and they did hell lots of damage 🤣
I agree odyssey was intrinsically bloated with high level npcs that made it really not enjoyable to the point where you would just turn it off and play another game lol
And Ac odyssey had the most annoying mercenaries system where they would appear and cowardly attack you out of no where because of your bounty level
Totally agree.
yep, Origins was the best... best story and best combat
@@banzaiib But can't beat The Ezio trilogy at all none of them cannot.
Can't kill people
I feel like, Bayek had much greater character aspect in story, overall story was good, every villian had a backstory and after assassination scenes were great that made assassinations look justified.
Egypt as well as afterlife maps were great.
For me every question mark on map was like a piece of candy.
AC odyssey lacked in something in story and characters. Alexios/K were more of killing machine.
also at this stage those question marks on map were more of a chore to be done.
DLC maps were great though
AC Valhalla itself seemed like a chore after 2 hours of gameplay, story felt too bland so I procrastinate on playing it
This is the best way I've heard it described yet. Origins is still goated, I wanted to like Valhalla more than I could
Origins was good but the content was a bit short esp the 2 DLC's while with Odyssey story was ok map was a bit to big had few repetative things but overall i will put it every day of the week above Valhalla and i won't speak for Valhalla cause there are only 2 good things about that game, and overall Ubisoft suck atm from left to right even Far Cry 6 sucked
Valhalla is better my opinion
@@christonchev9762 what 2 things are good about AC Valhalla in your opinion?
I didn't try far cry 6 though

Same I got it because it was spartan nobody has honestly made a spartan game in long time not like this which is a great game assassin with Spartans
Origins and blackflag are my favorites
Blackflag the story and characters are utterly amazing and can get me to the verge of tears everytime.

Origins - better story
Odyssey - better open world and unlimited side missions
Valhalla - variety with more content and better combat animations.
Odyssey is easily my favorite due to naval combat, hunting underwater treasures, beautiful world, Ancient Greece is my fav.

Odyssey is my favourit basically because of the general setting. I love ancient Greece and i think they did a pretty good job in creating the open world of Odyssey.

Like, you can climb over everything and get anywhere no problem. Games with limited mobility and those that only let you climb where they want you to climb (like Tomb Raider reboot games for example) felt suffocating and frustrating in comparison
right
That is exactly why I can't get into the earlier AC games because for a game thats suppose to be about jumping and climbing and parkour the amount of places I was expecting to be able to climb that I couldn't was really annoying. I also hated that in the earlier games you could only crouch where the game let you and not when you wanted and also I hated the control system too!
Same goes for the very first ACs
I have never given Valhalla a real chance as of yet (maybe later this year) - but I was actually looking forward to the game; Vikings, England etc. and all the features.
Perfect 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Origins was alright, but i didnt enjoy the gameplay much. Valhalla seems great so far. I love the story and how it all ties together. The only thing that its missing is a solid amount of intrigue.
Story - Origin, Fun, Exploring beautiful scenery - Odyssey, Rich history and gameplay - Valhalla
Valhallla - graphics, more stuff to do
Odyssey is my favorite due to the gameplay and world.
Odyssey had Darius and Isu
Ah shit another Odyssey hater
Voice acting was exellent? Really?!? Bayek must be one of the worst ever in ac series. Yes story itself is good but voice acting come on dont even start its so horrible. Dialogs are so NPC i dont understand how anyone could say voice acting is good in origins. Not to even talk about the shit audio quality, when its sounds like it was recorded in chamber.
Origins without a doubt. Ubisoft did an amazing job with Egypt, atmosphere is spot on, its so immersive especially maxed out settings on PC.

I really dislike the glowing, burning, supernatural armor from the newer games
I mean you don't have to use those armors or buy the helix stuff, I always used the default armors in all 3 games and think they by far suit and look the best
The stuff bagel is using is isu weapons I’m pretty sure
Then don't use that armor lol
Bayek uses ISU armor and passes some ISU items down
@@Kwuivery No, he is referring to the stuff on the Helix Store, in which you have to pay for the skins and other items in the store.
For example, in Valhalla there are some skins that are like Nordic Magic, it doesn't have the Isu look, (which is well different but it is not out like those items I have mentioned)
It is 2023 and Odyssey is still not properly optimized,. But i am still enjoying the game very much. def my top 3 AC game i ever played.
Played ODYSSEY 3000 hours...ha.ha
Odyssey is the on for me out of these three. Origins combat felt stiff and a little underworked, but Odyssey felt like it polished the combat and expanded on it. Of course I prefer the original combat system of assassins creed over this new combat system, im playing an assassins creed game, I don’t want to be brawling in the street like some gladiator.
Spartans were warriors, not assassins.. so thats why
Odyssey since i love the ancient greek history. and i think , exploring the world and atmosphere gives you a much better experience in Odyssey
I’ve played through all of these games but for me playing odyssey as Alexios was so elite
I dont know how to say it but assasins creed odyssey is the game that makes me the happiest
Played ODYSSEY 3000 hours...ha.ha
Not sure about Origins and Valhalla, but in Odyssey, if you synchronize in buildings, you can hold C + Shift and they will do a vertical flip in leap of faith.
You can’t sync in buildings in odyssey?
These new mythology AC games actually I really like
Gonna be valhalla for me, im a huge viking culture buff having roots from danish and celtic pagans, it just hits a very special place in my heart
I didn't exactly played Valhalla but in my opinion Odyssey is the best coz of map, npc, items and everything against origin

Odyssey is the best game, Origins is the best assassins creed, Valhalla is…. Well at least Norway is quite cool
Odyssey for me!!! The game fascinates in every possible manner. The setting, the world, combat, NPCs and the great greek mythology.

Played ODYSSEY 3000 hours...ha.ha
This. Those preferring the other two are just suckers for the open world, repetitive quests and fantasy gimmicks.
Odessey is by far the best imo. Finished both Orgins and Odessey inc DLC. im 70% on Valhalla.
I played Valhalla on release didn’t like it,started again last night and it looks totally different and I think they changed the skill tree I’m actually enjoying it a lot more ,I prefer the old creed games more tho
1) Odyssey is the BEST.
so much detail in each frame and so much is happening at any point of game.
Greeting from a greek content creator I agree odyssey by far the best :D
I am Egyptian, so yeah, AC Origins for me is the best last canonical AC in terms of everything hands down.
Why would the other 2 not be canonical
@@Engille967 As they are anything But Assassin's Creed. simple as that.
@@EmadIbrahim007 if the games were called " *ODYSSEY/VALHALLA* : an Assassin's Creed story" they wouldn't suffer as much hate
@@Colecionador7162 Yes, I couldn't agree more.
Odyssey is the best out of these three, but my heart loves only AC Black Flag ❤

HOWEVER ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE and some people shouldn’t even be playing this game , if you like Zelda , or anything like elden ring give this a go
i think these 3 are the best "games" in the whole series but as everyone knows the assassins aspect is next to none
well said
So Origins is your top 3 and you ignore the fact there are literal assassins and templars in the entire game?
@@Engille967 There are no assassins in origins until the end of the game. Templars also doesn't exist. It is called ,,order of the ancients."

@@Legoboy55able His story serves as the basis for the origins of the Assassin's organization. So you can miss me with that.

I dropped origins mid way got so bored due to lack of assassination technique and bad combat system..completed Odyssey though loved it
The three are good games with flaws like the increased amount of time with the next entries, so there was a point that I wanted to progress in another assassin's creed to have everything at 100%.
But even if they became too long, the plots are very entertaining that can hook anyone.
Origins & odyssey is amazing
I like odyssey better to play but origin story
I like odyssey rpg , ships , bounties etc
Origins was my favorite of the 3 but I’m pumped about mirage because I want to actually play as an assassin again
Odyssey is the best.
10:07 this is just a bug, It could have happened to Origins or Valhalla
Gotta say, AC Odyssey actually gave me the feeling of “damn, the enemy defeated me” when I’m very close to finishing them off but one stupid charge attack enemy use and killed me. Without end game stats, some enemies are kind of hard to deal with. Bandits AC Odyssey are also nightmare. The poison that the dagger inflicts so fast I can even parry it. The spin kick combo when enemies are glowing is also annoying, they do a lot of damage. One more thing, the daughter of Artemis are burning me alive. All of them aim at the same time, I have to keep on rolling.
Origins and odyssey are my favorites of the rpg trilogy, although origins does win over odyssey by a bit.
