Psalm 143 5:6 - I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. I stretch forth my hands unto thee; my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land.
I stretch out my hands, in reverence, and the deepest thanks, to God and, just like David, my soul longs for the Lord. What a journey David had, from humble Shepherd, smiting a giant, to a great and noble warrior King. I imagine, at times, when burdened by the worries and responsibilities of his reign, David must have looked back, in happiness, at the gentle, bucolic times of his youth and compared them to the responsibilities and pressures of his Kingship, noting, along the way, the good and special times, with gratitude and love for our Saviour, who made all those things possible. THE KING IS COMING! And all things will be made new - Hallelujah!

I like to remember how I was compared to what Jesus has done for me, and how he has helped change my old self. That gives me hope for an even better tomorrow.

It is so important to remember and call to mind God's Workings in our Own Life, especially in dark seasons like we're in now. (I literally just made a couple page, bullet point list for Myself within the last few weeks). ❤Maranatha-

Agreed Sara. If we don't focus on Him it is easy to get lost in the chaos of darkness. This is temporary!
