I have found that cid and fid callouts are ineffective for dimensions buried in assemblies. The only way to use them in a top-level assembly relation is to search for them using their name while the relations window is open.
Hello Dave, awesome video explaining the relations in models. I would like to create a notebook with calculations & relations and use those in various parts & assembly models. How do I link that notebook with those models to get the relations though? Also, is there a trick to get the relations from skeleton model into a part or assembly model? Thanks a lot in advance!
hey i have a question concerning relations, i have my relations fom the beginning of the modeling session and somehow in the middle have failed to use the notebook TYPE , it opens but i can´t swith to other scales , what can i do to fix this ??

You should watch my other videos on Notebooks, particularly linking models to Notebooks.
