That’s so good to see Africans and a Caribbean (black ladies) learning about each other’s cultures. I’m from the UK but my parents are Ghanaian. I embrace my heritage but don’t have any Ghanaian friends, but black friends from different African countries. I have church friend/mentor from Sierra Leone and we barely talk about each other’s differences because I think we’re so busy and we have different cultures. We talked about African food but haven’t tried each other’s countries food. I guess that will take time. Growing up in the UK, I don’t see Africans learn much about each other because of division from perspective. I want to see this improve. I love learning new cultures!
Wow, that is amazing you having friend from everywhere. You should take the first step by talking about your Culture, hopefully they will too. I also love learning about different cultures ❤
I am from Jamaica and is very happy that someone from my country is on this. I hope sh we will learn as much from her African sister. Love it ladies keep it up
The Nigerian should have mentioned Idia Amin. When we were growing up in Nigeria in the 90's, we all knew about Idi Amin of Uganda with that movie they made about him and the last recent film they made about him was The Last King of Scotland.
Maite has adapted the Nigerian accent that shows you how infectious Nigerians are everywhere they go they dominate, good vibes love the energy and the authenticity you guys have
The lady giving birth on a tree was from Mozambique 🇲🇿. Welcome to you lady from the Pearl of Africa with love from South Aftica 🇿🇦. Love you all ladies 🇿🇦 🇯🇲 🇳🇬 🇺🇬

So the thing about Jamaicans is that we were taken from different African countries, so we are mixed up with different African cultures. We have mostly Nigerian and Ghanian roots though. The reason our Patio is the way it is, is because we still use some of our African words, styles, gestures, and whatever else. We Jamaicans see ourselves as Jamaicans and Africans in one, because we couldn't be Jamaicans first. We were Africans before we became Jamaicans.👍 We love our Mother Land very much!!!❤️AFRICA!!!
My Jamaican sister, you should actually tell the South African girl, (Matie) what her name mean in Jamaica, guess she would be shocked, anyway so so much in love with her she is amazing
