      That area survives off tourism. And there's no one up there that does not like fishing.

      Hunter Shryock Fishing i have binged watched your whole UA-cam library in the past couple of weeks and you have done two things, 1. made me watch bass live religiously to keep up with how you are doing and 2. Restock on a lot of Berkley plastics that I had gotten away from for one reason or another but in the past three weeks they have really been paying off for me! Keep up the good work and if y’all ever get close to northwest Louisiana I will be coming to watch you weigh in man!!!

    Way cooler watching shallow largemouth fishing than fighting smallies for 10 minutes on light line in open water. Awesome video 👍

    That's fun stuff right there! Used to be my favorite way to catch'em! Unfortunately a neck injury prevents me from using the really big stick these days! So....I love watching you do your thing now! I just go out and get the big brown ones on Champlain most of the time less I can put the chatterbait/swim jig to work on the green one's!
    I love your footwork on the hook sets!
    Keep the momentum going bro! You deserve a Classic berth!

    Can you do a vid talking about the pool noodles in the livewell

    • @HunterShryockFishing
      @HunterShryockFishing  5 років тому

      They are pool noodles that you just cut down. They are meant to fill the gap between the surface of the water to the top of your livewells. This prevents the fish from hard impacts when running in rough water. I also plug the top of my livewells so the water will go completely to the lid and even overflow if you don't stop pumping the water. But still some will leak out and the pool noodles just help keep the fish protected.

  • @louie6014
    @louie6014 5 років тому

    Have you seen a big difference using the noodles to help allocate stress on the fish in the livewell?

  • @matthewjohnson4957
    @matthewjohnson4957 5 років тому

    Are the noodles in the live well to help keep the bass from getting beat up so bad in there when running the lake?

    Awesome job. What are the pool noodles for in your livewell?

      Thanks Jason!! The pool noodles are meant to fill the gap between the surface of the water to the top of your livewells. This prevents the fish from hard impacts when running in rough water. I also plug the top of my livewells in my phoenix so the water will go completely to the top against the lid and even overflow if you don't stop pumping the water. But still, some will leak out and the pool noodles just help keep the fish protected.

    I noticed pool noodles in your live wells... is it to keep them from jumping out or to help insulate the water keeping it cool? Or both?

    • @skyleranderson2428
      @skyleranderson2428 5 років тому +2

      People mainly use them so that the fish don’t get banged around when in rough water. Could be other reasons but that is the primary reason I’ve heard of.
