As a switch owner (my only console) I'm pretty excited for this game, 101 songs is a great number (I know PS4 have more) and this will be my first project diva game ever, I'm so pumped for it! C:

See, that's the attitude I like to see via comments to a video like this! Congrats on delving into the world of Vocaloid and Project Diva! I'm aware that you've not played the previous games and people that have are holding this game to those games' standards, but as I always say, go into a new product with low expectations and then go from there. You might love it, and you might hate it, but automatically hating it because it only has half the songs as FT (which I'm sure licensing is a thing preventing more) is stupid in my opinion. Kudos and cheers!

They're use Dynamic lighting to make every module has a custom lighting
It's like anime in 3D OMG!!! (Dynamic Lighting like Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2)
So they're not use an environment lighting on every the module to lose any FPS on switch port.

I have Future Tone and nope, no interaction whatsoever but idk I feel like I only cared about that part for the first week of playing in past PD titles
While I'm really hoping for it too (both because I like it as it is, and it also gave me something to use earned points on after unlocking all the modules, which is where I'm at in FT right now), I doubt it will...
The only things on the main menu were "rhythm game", "customize" (as in t-shirts and most likely module sets like in FT), "playlist" (for video playlists), "gallery" (for screenshots I think), and "options".
They took out a good bit of the interaction in X, and altogether in FT, so it looks like it may be gone for good. Which I feel is especially disappointing with the last Nintendo "Project ___" game, Project Mirai, interaction was a major component of the game, maybe as much so as the rhythm game portion itself? It's not impossible one thing or another may change by the time of release, but with less than two months left I'm not optimistic.

So I'm essentially buying Future Tone for my Switch, judging by the game play that was shown.
sonicgojira Yes. The game is made for Nintendo fans and is the first Project Diva Series game to release outside of a Sony console after the 10 Year Contract ended. PS4 Future Tone will get the new songs as DLC. Mega 39's Theme song "Catch the wave" will stay exclusive tho.

Edit mode doesn't exist in Future Tone, and this game is essentially Future Tone for the Nintendo Switch, so that's not happening. Play F/F2nd/X on PS3/PSVita/PS4 if you want Edit play/edit mode.

Look, every game has it's flaws alright? But what they've shown off in this trailer is enough to convince me to get this game. I was already going to get it because hello? Project Diva. But now, I'm so excited to see what else they have to offer.
This. So the game doesn't appeal to everyone's tastes. To hell with the ones who immediately shun the game! I'm getting this because new songs and I already have a load of rhythm games on my Switch! MuseDash, GrooveCoaster, Taiko... It only makes sense that I'd pick up this Project Diva like I have every one that came to the west before♥

He's saying that he's admitting that MegaMix has its flaws, and he's willing to look past those flaws and just enjoy the fact that one of the best rhythm games is coming to the Switch finally after years of it being on Sony consoles only (I do know and am aware that Project Mirai was/is on the 3DS, but that's not what I'm referring to here).

The new songs are going to be added to the PS4 in a DLC. I've got a Switch but I've already got Future Tone, so I'm not going to bother.

@@ThatHawksSimp I too have Future Tone in a few ways (US/JP on PS4, and the arcade dump running on a spare PC I have) and I'm still getting MegaMix. I've been wanting a portable Future Tone since it started to become popular, and I was sad they didn't make it happen and port it to the PS Vita, of which when was the last portable console to have the series. When they surprise announced MM for the Switch I was soooooooooooo excited you wouldn't believe it. I have the 10th anniversary special edition preordered from AmiAmi and I can't wait to get it. But I mean hey, each to their own.
