It so sucks that support for this game was cut, and at the worst time. I believe that at that time, Clone Wars Season 7 and Mandalorian were popping off, so in retrospect, it was a big missed opportunity that they didnt take advantage of the hype. However, they decided to drop it in favor of another shitty EA Sports game. Probably the only thing keeping this game alive are the Kyber Mods.

I felt like we lost when it looked like we were finally winning. Just thinking about the potential and content we could have and how many people would still be playing if they didnt stop updating it.

recently like 3 weeks ago, the game died for me. on my ps4 oceania servers there used to be at least 2 GA lobbies at a time and a couple of HVV maybe 2 hero showdown, coop is coop, supremacy kinda dead, blast depends and the starfighters gamemodes where surprisingly alive. this stopped 3 weeks ago.
I find co op is always active on PC at least. There's also Triple XP Wednesday every week which is when people would get on for Galactic Assault / Supremacy

I’m honestly so happy I played this game from beta through every hyped update, I stuck with the game through it all. Game was left in an incredible place. The graphics are phenomenal

I only play HVV, Showdown, Co-op, and I swear I still get full game lobbies super quickly, I’m talking almost immediately. Though most lobbies are filled with high level sweats, me and my friends still consistently play BF2, we never really stopped.
Man the co op is where its at. Shit is so fun and you actually get to use the heroes alot. Is usually pretty easy but some levels are fucking rough as hell

The fact that I couldn't get into any games without having plus 300 ping sucks because i used to love this game but was late to the party. Multiplayer games in Australia is tough
How did EA manage to fumble this game so badly, the game should have one of the most thriving support networks going with regular seasons and updates, it’s a real shame!
As much as I love battlefront 2 I've moved to Galactic Contention, a Mod for SQUAD for my StarWars high. I would highly recommend it map sizes are massive teams can sometimes be 50/side you can fly LAATs and Droid Gunships its a blast.
My absolute hope is for them to some day release a battlefront 3 that builds on where 2 left of. New factions like legends,show and videogame characters etc. Maybe you get to design your own team. What units, what vehicles, what heroes etc It could all be so awsome

The Co-op mode is still good. Especially since they made it so you can play with randoms instead of just friends.
