THE CHOIRMASTER is Ricky’s God Given Destiny from his childhood. I love how he shared his mother’s encouragement to direct even in their home after church as she cooked the family’s Sunday dinner. His musical influences including gospel, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, etc. molded him into the Music Minister he has become even in the face of church rejection & critics as the other modes of music did not pull him away from his first love of GOSPEL MUSIC. I truly thank God for Ricky cause he one of the few treasures who is retaining and creating EXCELLENT CHOIR MUSIC of which is Anointed & Timeless! It also is very obvious Ricky not only is rooted and grounded in Music Ministry but also he is knowledgeable about GODS WORD as he shared the Scripture reference of his role as a CHOIRMASTER (I Chronicles 15 chapter/22 verse is the verse that speaks of Chenaniah) and gave words of love and encouragement to his Interviewers as well. It is also obvious why Ricky is SO BLESSED..He acknowledges the many ministries, families, etc. that GREW from his Labors of Love in the Lord of which CERTAINLY is NOT IN VAIN!
