In the video, I cut two blades, and taped them together. Before you do that, place a dowel rod at the top and bottom, and secure them in place. Then tape the blade together, and continue from there.
Does this handle being carried sound like a chainsaw? I'm gonna make some modifications, use hot glue to help secure things, but I want to make sure the handle won't pop off if I carry it sound
+Daisy McCurtain There's not really a way that I can guarantee that. I think I built it pretty securely, and mine is still holding up more than a year later, but I've never carried it around for any great amount of time, and nothing that I build on this channel is really designed to take a lot of wear and tear.
Nicholas Jordan I don't see why not, but I would test to make sure the paint sticks to the tape before building the whole prop. My experience has been that packing tape doesn't take paint very well.
