I tried reading a bible again, and the words just wouldn't stick, I told God I can't understand this, soon as I read something it left my mind, reading the same thing over and over. I became frustrated and asked God to help me understand more clearly, and he led me here. While I listen, I read along and it is setting in much better. thank you for this. God bless you.

The people's attention should be on listening to the Holy Gospel of Matthew which you've been so kind as to post it, and attention shouldn't lie on the picture you chose for your background. (Which I think is a lovely picture) Since none of us know what our Lord actually looks like and some may speculate, I believe that He'd be grieved at the petty arguing among the brethren (Psalm 113:1) over a picture rather than just hearing the Gospel as it is shared.We should just have a spirit of gratefulness, not arguing over what doesn't matter and defeating the purpose of our Brother's sharing of the Word of God, especially of the Gospel. These arguments don't show neither love nor gratefulness toward our brother for sharing. God bless you for sharing this, Daniel my brother, and again, I truly do thank you!

What I think is pathetic is that skin color is an issue in the first place. Sometimes I wish the whole world would go color blind for a while. Thd real problem in the world is hate not race.....
I haven't read the bible since I was a kid and wanted to feel connected in faith again but I'm not gonna lie I kinda laughed cuz I was not expecting a full-blown family tree tbh. Really appreciated the wonderful audiobook as I feel much more connected to it in this way!

I love the characters' expressions, and since this is on UA-cam, I can access it anywhere, or tell anyone about your audio bibles...I see you have them in different languages also!...truly a blessing. As with others in these comments, I think Christians should not quarrel over something so insignificant as this depiction of Christ.

I am not sure about his but I wanted to point it out because I was a kjv confident user but always open to the fact that it might have flaws too. we were not there at the time these versions were written. Aris C I still believe the KJV is the best to use, just because of my extensive study on the modern bibles and where they came from, and how corrupt they are, missing verses and whole books and adding to God's word. If you look at a KJV in John 8:24 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. If you take a look at this in your KJ bible, the word "he" is italicized, meaning it's been added. In the Hebrew, there is no word "he." That verse would say "For if ye believe not that I am, ye shall die in your sins. So with that being said. Jesus is the I AM. I know that the KJ is the best according to the Textus Receptus. If you want to learn Hebrew, then I say go for it. But it's not easy from what I've understood. God bless.

At some point in your walk with Jesus and through your studies you'll appreciate the genealogies. Every word of the bible is rich with something God purposed for us to know and the begats are no different.
Maybe instead of complaining about how it is written you could pray for discernment and that the Holy Spirit will help you to understand. Begat just means 'the father of' example...
