    I love how like 3 people in the audience coughed their lungs out the second his hands hit the keys.
    It’s not a real classical concert unless the audience is choking on their own saliva

    • @jakeforrest
      @jakeforrest 4 роки тому +15

      You don’t cough unless there are other sounds to disguise it, to avoid attention.
      Unfortunately in this case, the “other sound” is the music !

    Lang Lang is coolest, crazy, fun pianist, person. He breaks the ice, between a form and humanity. Obviously a stunning player. Taste - amazing. But he is so pure, himself and true... Nice student's playing by the way. Good for Poland. Regards. From a russian pianist.

      Yes. can someone please tell me why lang lang is so controversial? i dont get it

    • @lczq6737
      @lczq6737 4 роки тому +8

      @@yimmieyammie because people say he has lack of emotion- but I think otherwise, true that a lot of his performances are really not musical(to the classical world) but I believe that is because he is playing for audience that don't listen to classical, so he has to sort of show off to get their attention. However, he shows his true musical side in many moments ofc. His don Juan for example is a huge middle finger to anyone who has something nasty to say about him. I have seen a lot of people also saying they think Lang Lang is more suited for Liszt than Chopin.

    When I watched the guy played the song
    I felt it was so messy but still I can hear the important things
    But when Lang Lang demo wow I only heard 2 very clear lines the melody and the bass
    The middle parts didnt muddle

    Each piece of music ever written has parts of it that change in speed, loud or soft, and ofcourse the emotion of the composer which was trying to convey. These kids are amazing. They are doing extremely hard pieces of music. Music should take you on a journey of emotions. He is only fine tuning these kids and getting them to play the piece how the composer intended. Technically, these kids are amazing, and as a cellist l love the way he guides these children. It really is amazing how talented they are. Well done. Keep up the talented amazing work.

    To properly play a masterpiece long before written needs to “décortiquer “ the genome sense of feeling of it’s composer .
    The writings notes sheets that were pass to present times are only offering music students a direction to follow.
    To bad modern technology wasn’t invented back then for us to visualize the very first play by the author.
    Playing piano by ear over 50 years, I can tell that Lang Lang is teaching the fondamental of how to listen and not read the notes .
