I created a Patreon tier ONLY for those who wish to become true Jedi and learn how to build your own lightsabers. You’ll get special access to long-form videos where I show you how to build a lightsaber from start to finish, explaining every step along the way.

The SPEAKER!
This was challenging mainly due to the VERY tight spaces. Also because I had to learn about a type of wire connector that I've never used before, called "DuPont Connectors". They're definitely tricky and require some experience to get it right. Oh well.. tried my best.
Also... I'm fairly confident my speaker won't work at all.
I've been handling it so rough ever since I've gotten it, that I can't imagine it working after all this time. Then again... you never know! I might get lucky.

I can respect a man that approaches a mistake/tech failure with a sense of humor.
I need to see this lightsaber completed I’m 100% sure it’s gonna turn out amazing
Sees another Lightsaber build video and stops everything to watch once again. Lol
You’re a legend 👊🏻
@@StarWarsIRL I try to be anyway. Lol
Loving this video series!!! Started my own build with an 89sabers Sidious hilt with Proffie board several months ago, but kind got stuck on the wiring. (I also suck at soldering) Never got my RGB LEDs to work, but watching these videos is giving me hope that I can watch your videos and figure out how to finish my own build after all. Thank you StarWarsIRL, you're my only hope!
i wouldn’t be surprised if he turned to the dark side by the end of this series do to his pain and suffering.
I also wouldn't blame him.
You have the patience of a Saint
Loving these videos!! I get excited every time I see a notification for a new day!
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying them 😊
This is VERY impressive!
Thank you 🙏🏻
@@StarWarsIRL OMG YOU SAW MY COMMENT!!!!
Great job with all these videos😁
*visible happiness*
Well done
Wow so cool
This is why I'm glad I stick with just stunt sabers and even then if I want Electronics I can just get my hands on one of the old soundboards from the Hasbro electronic lightsabers or if I have a friend who has a black series lightsaber that broke I can potentially just get that from them and use its guts already wired together and I don't have to do anything fancy
mad respect for making your own lightsaber, a dab of hot glue should keep those connectors in place in the chassis
YOOO I have a quick question, how do you do the subscribe prompts on your videos?
Wow that took a long time for you to build a lightsaber
And I still feel like I’m not even close to being done 😂😂😭😭😭
It's so much harder than you would imagine...it's overwhelming, really
In your opinion what do you think is the best company to buy a lightsaber from that is low budget?
You should check out crimson dawn, darkwolf sabers, rebel sabers and vire sabers

If so, then read through the comments section. There’s tons of people giving great advice over there 👍🏻
@@StarWarsIRL yes of course I just wasn’t sure because some of those websites are a lot of money and I don’t have that. Thank you for responding though, Keep up the good work!
Niceee!
Would you ever consider doing a durability test on an Imperial Workshop saber? I'm scared to duel with mine.
When are you finishing your build?
Something about adressable LED's. Dey are wery good and comonly used because dey can be pluget only on three cables(+ - and data). And you can plug almoust unlimited numbers of adressable LED's in only 1 data cable and you stil can light theme separatly. I try to say tahat for your blaster led you don't need standard led but you need conect it in same data conection as your saber LED.
PS: Excouse my english.
where did u get manual
Including the spare parts for if you broke any, how much did this entire project cost you?
i know that i am not the creator of this vid but i saw that u didn't have a reply to your comment and decided to help. While I have no idea how much he has spent on this I personally am in the process of building my own. After buying everything that i need to buy for the build at the cheapest price i could find by using the custom saber shop and the current prime day sales the price of my blade has totaled to $80 and the total price of my hilt was around $90. Personally I have found a way to cut down the price of the metal hilt (if that is what u want) by making my own aluminum hilt with an aluminum furnace and many different molds. I havent really looked into purchasing the metal hilt from a saber shop but I am guessing that it would probably add another $80-$100.
