Glad to see you're doing well! Been waiting to hear how you've been. I definitely hit a wall in march as a first-year teacher but I feel like I'm getting over it. Also loved hearing all your organizational tips and tricks.
Yay! Love your vids!
Teacher Workdays = Cleaning and paperwork! Especially this year…. I love the check list idea!!! I will be moving up to middle school next year…. After 15 years in elementary 😱 a bit nervous but I’m excited. I’d love to see more planning content if that’s possible!
Do you Vlog on your phone? On a Camera? What do you use to edit? LOVE all of your content!!
Hey! So I actually just vlog on my phone and use imovie to edit. Hopefully one day I can afford to step up my game a little bit, but it works well for me rn! There's SO many imovie editing how-to vids out there that can make your vids not look like they were edited in imovie. Hope this helps! (:
Hi! Are teacher work days separate from PD in your district? If so, that’s amazing!
Hey! Yes, they are!
I feel like teachers many times don't manage their time well enough. Contracted time in my district is 7.5 hrs a day. An hour of that is prep. Half an hour of it is lunch. So 6 hours in the classroom. I know teachers that leave on time every day. I know some that don't and "work" 10, 11 hours a day. They have to sit and talk and tell everyone about their ice skating, and drink coffee, and literally no one cares about everyone's life. I'm not gonna teach 10-12 hours a day. I manage my time. I can't stand it.
