I resigned from teaching - all the details + what's next

This season of life has been a weird mix of excitement and grief and I have a lot of peace that stepping out of the classroom is what's best for me right now. Aww Abbey. I am so sorry to hear about your mom and your other family members. This must be devastating for you and your family; I can’t imagine. Your family is in my prayers 🥺🥺🩷💙.
In addition, best of luck to you as you start this new chapter in your life. Most people would agree that family comes first 🩵💜💙🩷 I am in awe of you that you are able to take this leap. You are lucky in that regard … at least now, you can spend your time and energy taking care of your mom and the baby when she is born. You won’t have to worry about lesson plans. Calling parents. IEPs. And everything else that comes along with teaching!! When you’re ready, there will be jobs waiting.
