Here, here. It's more like a commercial--and I mean that in a good way. It's not the whole show any more than a "preview" is the whole movie. Geesh guys. I for one am inspired to go next year after seeing this. I have been inspired by SoS in the past to get the books authored by many of the "stars" of Johns videos. Keep em' coming John.

A little something inspired by the video:
    It stirs the soul
    Stir for a bit,
    Gain wonder,
    Stir for a bit more,
    Gain insight,
Stir for even a bit more,
    Gain ideas,
    Put everything together,
    and you'll get passion,
    Then you'll be able,
    To defy the impossible,
    Then you'll be able,
    To imagine the future,
    And finally...
    You'll be able,
    To change the world,
All this will stir you soul,
    This is... TED.

this is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen.. what the hell is wrong with you people bringing this song down, did you ever dream? did you ever feel? it's because of mean hearted comments liek some i've read here that this world is in the mess it's in right now.. Love and let Love!

I made a lyrical/contemptory dance to this way back when. 1:01 is so pretty honestly. and these are speeches like this is good. 'the miracle of your mind...' 'wonder, insight, ideas, its time to tell'. wow, like i dont remember the dance but I remember practicing it and loving it and my mom does too. this is so good. nostalgia

Reminds me of this story .... At a U2 concert in Glasgow, Scotland, [Bono] asked the audience for total quiet. Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands, once every few seconds. Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the microphone, “Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies.”From the front of the crowd a voice with a broad Scottish accent pierced the quiet …“Well, fuckin stop doin it then, ya evil bastard!”

@Skydance504 Yeah, sure we can't remember what it was like to live in fear of the Soviet Union or what it was like when everyone had an illegal gun from wartimes (at least where I live) but I, at least, am always willing to listen and learn.
