- Clip Comparison between the Official 2011 Blu Ray release of Star Wars Return of the Jedi, and my upcoming Star Wars Fan Edit called "The Ultimate Edition. The current changes that have been made to this video is a complete color correction, original dialogue has been restored, and the Special Education Sarlacc Beak has been removed thanks to combining and editing footage from Project 4K83 by TeamNegative.

I like the idea of the beak in the sarlacc but it just looks too fake. I love your cut tho it looks really good!

Especially when boba Fett falls in. It looks like he gets cut from the scene, it doesn't look like he gets eaten
well, i understand that you think it looks fake with the beak but only realy at 0:30 for me since it doesent realy look like they put that much effort into the CGI and the tounge looks to purple, it also has the beak in both

Yaknow the most nostalgic thing about this cut is the color of Luke’s lightsaber. It reminds me of being a kid and watching the special editions from ‘97 on vhs

No, my friend. They added the tendrils and the beak as part of a 2011 special edition that pretty much became mainstream.

I hate how much magenta there is in the blue ray version
I like the Special Edition on the top with the newly enhanced Visual Effects. 3:53 Such as that Computer Animated Sarlacc scene for example. Especially when Captain Han Solo said this in the Special Edition version. 4:26 “It’s alright, I can see a lot better.”

Even though they look fake, I actually like the addition of the tentacles. Its the "not head, but tongue with a beak" that I hate.

- and uf it's canonicaly a tongue, why the hell would you make it look like the source of its pig squeals?
It's poorly designed, poorly executed, and another example of what happens when George's "vision" isnt keot on a leash.
when it eats you, why dont you just... hold onto the tongue instead of being swallowed. like you really gonna let it swallow you? why wouldn't that work
and in the original version thats a small hole what is even making you fall in at all

The original is the one without the beak actually.. sad there is a generation of fans who only know the special edition hack job 😞

@@jeneraljax29 I think the most they should've done was just remaster the films, not add new shit to them. Just make them look a little sharper, that's it. But of course good old George got a lil excited.

I think the original Sarlacc Pit looks better but I understand why George Lucas changed it. I respect his decision and opinion.

@damienknight1002 My twin brother actually likes The Sarlaccs Beak I think it looked better as just a hole in the ground with a row of spikes in the center The redesign makes it look like Audrey II from The original B&W Little Shop of Horrors IT LOOKS FUCKING AWFUL
