+cple1 Seems like no one likes it. Was too big to run at Disneyland, too weak to run at Walt Disney World, and I guess too much of a pain to run at Cedar Point.
+Christopher Kovacs It's not as good of an engine to run because of its throttle. It's basically a giant ball valve and so it's pretty much an on/off switch. As far as firing, it holds heat extremely well, maybe even better than the Vulcans, so if we could ever figure out how to fix the throttle, we would run it more often, but that's probably not gonna happen. For now, we keep it in backup in case one of the Vulcans goes down for major repair or if we have a two train day and one of the Vulcans is due for a boiler wash, then we'll put it out. We haven't run it since October 2013 though.
Fyi I've been telling CP&LE RR fans you might get a kick out one of my new vids "BLUEGRASS JAMBOREE 5/8 Wabash Cannonball & Cedar Point LE RR Train 2016" the train goes behind the stage at the end of the song ;
Holy crap, i think you should have left that Hancock Long Bell on Judy! Pretty classy whistle for a classy engine!
Single Chime!
41:49 is absolutely hilarious. That whistle really bit the dust after I left!
+pm1225cp Thankfully that was the last time it was heard.
My ears would be bleeding after one round with that thing.
+TommyBNSF You have any footage of your ceremonial closing round whistle blast?
Unfortunately no. There is one video on UA-cam of the closing blast though. ua-cam.com/video/Q5DkWAPlLQ4/v-deo.html
That's awesome!! Glad to know somebody got it on camera.
I like the Deavenport engine
You are the only one unless you are referring to Albert!
cple1
why?
+TrainsWow™ its cobbled up mess of an engine and difficult to run unless you have biceps built like tanks.

Any word on the G.A. Boeckling? Despite it being the "new kid on the block", I don't really see any footage of it in operation.

Hell yeah, @22:26 I'm running Judy like a Metra train.
+Brian Smith Ain't that the truth.
