Hey..... Ambuyat the same as Indonesian's popeda. This is my first time knowing Brunei's foods and language, I'm happy that the three of us (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei) have almost the same foods, language, and culture. Love my neighbors.

@Farid Vijaya I am Malaysian, and I live in Brunei, but I have say that not all of them are mean. But so far for whole 17 years here, they are friendly like,in my school, there were white people, black people. And we have Thailand, korean, Indonesia, Philippines, chinese, Malaysian, English students here. And we're all friend. Like, when I'm was having trouble with my studies, they are willing to help. And I make good friends with them.

Pasar Malam Gadong also there's alot of best food i think they start open around 3pm until night. And the food price cheaper starting $1. Kiulap is one of the best area f you guys want to enjoy any foods. I would like to thank you to KBS to promote my country to all around the world. Thank You very much😘

Rule #1. You shouldn't chew the ambuyat. 😂
And the best explanation for the left hand thingy is that, you are still allowed to use your left hand. It is not some kind of superstitious thingy or cultural appropriation. For muslims, we are following the 'sunnah' of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH to eat using the right hand and to only use your left hand when you're cleaning your private area (using water) after pooping or peeing. But if you're a left handed person, that is so fine. Bruneians call the right hand as tangan school hehehe. Mana2 yang lebih expert, please correct me okay? Thank you. 😊
