That "jaring" is spelt as "jering" in Malaysia. It has very distinct and i should say, interesting flavor and smell. That "baguette" is "roti John" in Malaysia, the stuffed pancake is called Apam Balik (in Sabah it's called Terang Bulan). How interesting to know that Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia (and maybe Singapore) have the same food with different names. 😊😊

    • @drea2255

Sweet p0me oh really? That's interesting! In Malaysia, the martabak (actually it is spelt as murtabak) has chunks of meat and onion with beaten eggs as filling, and the wrap is almost like roti canai. 😀😀

3:25 The bitter fruit is called Jaring. Its usually eaten with sugar and some shredded coconut, so that it tastes sweet after the bitterness.
The egg baguette is known as Roti John. The ones that they’re having is Papa John. Its the largest size.
The traditional pancake is called Kuih Malaya. The pancake is filled with sweetened milk and peanuts. You can add chocolate too

But we (me and friends) manage to say hi to him and his team because we just want to make sure if its really him and one of his friend suggested to ask him directly and he didn't response.... But still I'm lucky to see him in a real life. Lots of love, fan from Brunei.👯‍♀️

the Jaring they were eating we called it jering in Malaysia and the steamed jering we eat it with grated coconut that mixed with sugar and salt...and it's funny when they straightly translate the fried noodles as "mie goreng" and it getting funnier when Jaejung say "nasi goreng".
