Long distance day hiking means you've gotta have a pack that can handle the work! Insert the Futura Pro 36 from Deuter here. My experience with the pack so far has been nothing but positive. Sure, it has some features that I feel are missing for what I like in a pack, but the pack overall is really high quality, and is a great pack!
This product was provided by the manufacturer or supplier for free or at a discounted price. However, the disclosed information in the video shows a fair and unbiased review of the product.
I got (2) Deuter packs, air lite 18 and this one in the blk/gry.Love them both.As you,I highly recommend Deuter packs.Thks.
Can't go wrong with Deuter!
A suggestion. Don't repeat a feature list I can read off from a manufacturer's website... If you make a video, show those features, how they work. IMO that's the whole point of making a *video* review. If you're talking about a sleeping bag compartment with a zippered separation panel, show how much space is there and how does it work... otherwise, just talking about it doesn't provide any more information than a few lines of a text. Cheers
Tengo una de 24 litros y es estupenda, pero esta se la ve genial para más capacidad de equipaje.
Saludos desde Ecuador. Gracias por tu vídeo.
I was confused which one to buy -the Futura 32L or the 36L but after watching your video, I guess there aint much difference... i can have more space if I ever think of putting some more stuff in it for a weekend getaway to the beach. Thanks for the info.
Rico Bell glad to help. Thank you!
Hi, I like this bag (Futura 36) and I am wondering if its also suitable for skialp? I mean if is it possible to use side belts for holding skii, when I am going up the hill. Thank you in advance.
So, which is better: this pack or Osprey Exos?
Both... ha ha! Just depends what you are using it for. The Exos is a great ultralight option, and is lighter than the Futura Pro. I personally like to day hike with the Futura Pro more than the Exos, but I like to pack my ultralight setup and backpack with the Exos more.
Do you feel the new Future Pro 36 is big enough for a 4 day hike with all ultra light gear in hot weather?
Tom Chase I think it’s doable, but hard to say not knowing your gear. But 36 L typically works for 3 days with a UL focus.
shouldnt be a problem...there are truhikers with 35liter packs or lower that spent months on the trail.
Is the hip belt removable?
