Could definitely hear Original 106 on 106.8, very faint but definitely there. Also surprised Smooth on 105.2 from Black Hill never came through at all, it has roughly the same radiation pattern as Clyde 1 although now that I think about it i'm sure Clyde's antenna is higher up than smooth, Yes I think Smooth is below the BBC stack where as Clyde is above them and that's why Clyde makes it further east than Smooth does. Surprising they made the decision to have Smooth radiate so much towards Glasgow and the west when the other commercial stations Capital and Heart are mostly non directional, especially since they both have relays for Edinburgh when Smooth doesn't. It means we tend not to listen to Smooth as much, because even though we are only halfway in between Glasgow and Edinburgh, even for us Smooth is weak and almost doesn't come through at all on a portable compared to Heart and Capital which are usually almost as strong as the BBC's.
I heard something on 87.7 FM. What station is that?
George Collins Don't know, must have been an RSL on at the time.
I can get bbc Scotland on am in Ireland at night especially

Clyde 1 still receivable on 102.5 from Black Hill, and something actually different on from Forth 1!
Yes :) Forth 1 also had a good signal on 102.2 from the relay in Penicuik, Midlothian.
