couple small things i noticed and loved about characters in this film...but one in particular is Cedric doesn't wear a "potter stinks" pin and has told his friends not to wear them as well. One could understand if Cedric did as he was the "rightful" champion selected (according to the rules) and Harry was obviously chosen out of tampering. But Cedric is confident enough and kind enough to not stoop to hazing/humiliation of Harry and even urges friends to not take part in it as well. That is a pretty stand up character (and the point). It would have been nice to see his character develop from earlier films into this one, but I understand that films have limits and it isn't key to the story until now.

25:02 An important thing to note that the movies don't tell you is Fleur Delacour isn't entirely human she's 1/4 Veela which are magical humanoid bird monsters(similar to harpies) considered near human intelligence that can take a human form being beautiful women with white-gold hair and they have a strong affect on anybody attracted to women. In the book it showcases many different guys including Harry being affected at differing points and to top it off Fleur can more or less turn the affect up and down.

So Harry and Ron, among others, were told to grow their hair every year so that they could get the haircut they needed for the movies each year. The director of GoF liked the long hair and decided to keep their long hair without a cut. That's why they're so shaggy this movie.
When Harry meets Moody, he has a mirror that's shows your enemies. The reflection in the mirror was Marty Crouch Senior the enemy of junior, who is masquerading as Moody
great easter egg Barty jr is David Tennent a former doctor who and the Tardis doctor who's time machine/ spaceship is bigger on the inside then the outside just like the tent at the quidditch world cup.
I've never seen anyone talk about this, but David Tennant's small parts in this really show how incredible he is. Even with only a number of scenes that can be counted on one hand, he still really shows how, despite how big or small a role he has, he can do it perfectly
In the book Bart crouch jr isn’t revealed till right at the end He’s not in the dream, it’s just Voldemort and wormtail. At the quidditch World Cup, Harry hears someone but we don’t see who cast the mark He doesn’t do the lick thing, and there’s absolutely zero hint that moody is crouch, and it’s a complete shock at the end Also at the trial, he attempts to deny that he’s a death eater and the public believe him innocent. He’s said to have died in Azkaban but really his father (at the request of mrs crouch who’s dying) frees his son, but keeps him under the Imperious curse for years, then it’s at the World Cup when crouch jr breaks free and later on wormtail and Voldemort find crouch jr is alive, and break him out of his house while putting Sr under the imperious. Hence why sr insists Harry competes. But over time sr starts fighting the curse and after the first task he starts calling in sick, but when Harry is going back to his common room after the bath, he sees crouch on the map (actually he sees moody) and ‘moody’ takes the map, then not long before the final task, Sr arrives on hogwarts grounds out of his mind, Harry at that point is giving kind of a brother talk with Krum about Hermione and they showing mutual respect. Crouch talks about his son, and how the dark lord is gaining strength, so Harry runs to get dumbledore while krum stays with crouch sr. Snape holds Harry up and acts like he’s chatting nonsense, but when Harry gets Dumbledore he finds krum stunned and crouch has vanished. Fudge accuses Maxime and dumbledore and hagrid have a massive argument with Karkaroff who thinks it’s deliberate. Then when Harry goes to dumbledore’s office and ends up finding the pensive, he’s going to dumbledore because he’s had a dream (this time it’s Voldemort using the cruciatus on wormtail for allowing crouch to escape, but it’s not confirmed they’re talking about crouch and they get an owl to say ‘he is dead’) Also crouch sr has a house elf, and the elf was responsible for making sure his son doesn’t escape, and the elf was accused of conjuring the dark mark so it’s given clothes
You dropped this at a perfect time! Thank you!!!! 🙏🏽 I may not comment much on your videos but now that I am, just want to say that I think you’re doing a great job 🫶🏽
The joke that went around a few years later was the whole premise of Goblet of Fire was Dr Who going back in time to try to prevent the Twilight series.
24:11 ive never spotted this before. Ron asks "come with one of us?" is such a nice line. i dont know if it refers to his inconfidence with Hermione like hes afraid to ask her out alone or to his friendship with Harry as hes pretty much giving him a chance here as well or it refers to that hes "learnt" from his twin brothers who always speak in plural. either way, its a very nice touch
Yeah, Barty is, unironically, the second best DADA Professor they've ever had. Third if you count Harry as a DADA Professor. Even if he did end up scarring Neville for life. Though, I do believe it is a big part of what matured Neville into the, "I don't give a fuck" adult he became by the end of the story. So maybe the psychological and emotional scarring was for the best?
@@Karlebow571 His mother (I think it was her) drank pollyjuice potion and took his place i Azkaban. Daddy kept JR under control with the Imperius curse and an invisibility cloak. With their House Elf Winky to keep tabs on him. At the match, JR was enraged at the other deatheaters since they had escaped and broke free of the curse by sheer force of will.
They weren't exactly ghosts in the cemetery. Harry and Tom's wands have the same filling. The feather of the same phoenix. Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix. Wands-sisters can't fight each other. They can hurt, but they can't kill. When such a fight happens, there is a Priori Incantatem. Summoning the last spell performed by the wand. Therefore, all the victims appeared from Tom's wand in reverse order: Cedric, the gardener, Harry's parents. But they would not be able to stay and disappeared as soon as the connection of the sticks was broken.
Mad-Eye Moody has made so many enemies that he only drinks out of his flask because he would expect someone to poison him. The use of any of those curses on a human is illegal. I'm not justifying cruelty to animals, I'm just explaining why he was able to do them in a classroom.
Funny enough, I never really thought of that, my brain automatically just assumed they meant using it at all for any reason was forbidden, but he was otherwise given this one exception as an educational thing This makes more sense, that it’s only use of them on a human that’s forbidden
51:00 Answering your question - it's not explained in the movies, but is explained in the books. Barty Crouch Jr used Polyjuice Potiom to swap bodies with his mother (who loved him, regadless of his crimes, and didn't want him to go to Azkaban). So his mother (who was mortally ill) used Polyjuice Potion to turn into him, then died (in his body) so everyone thought that Barty died in prison. And Barty used Polyjuice Potion to turn into his mother and leave prison.
The thing about Harry and Voldimort's wand connecting and bringing back Harry's parents, as well as Cedric and the muggle caretaker all as ghosts... They weren't really brought back, exactly. When two wands that share the same core duel each other, the wand that is losing the duel is forced to reveal the last 5 spells it performed. In this case, 4 of those last 5 spells were the curses that killed Cedric, the muggle caretaker, and Harry's parents. The form that those spells revealed themselves is to manifest the ghosts of those people.

51:04 i read dis book and fortunately i know how he got out of AZkaban, that is Barty's son. so after Barty sent his son to Azkaban, his wife was sorrowful (as u can imagine any mother would be) and she begged him (Barty) continuously to release their son, i believe she also fell ill (during d period coz she was very sorrowful and down , basically like crying everyday and stuff coz of her son---their only child, in Azkaban ). both parents eventually agreed to do this: so they went to the prison to visit their son and d mother took polyjuice potion to transform herself into her son, while d son into d mother, and both switched places. 1 week later or so, the son (mother--who was constantly taking d potion to look like he son), dies in d prison and she is buried.everybody thinks Barty Crouch's son is dead. Barty leaves prison with his son (who looks like d mom), i believe they shortly stage/fake d wife's death to d public and bury an empty casket. so now everybody thinks d man has lost his wife nd son, but d son remains at home, under the imperius curse and is raised and cared for by their house elf, not allowed to see d sunlight, locked up by Barty. but the boy slowly overcomes d Imperius curse and that day of d world cup, puts on an invisbility cloak to go to the event, the house elf took him, Barty doesnt know his son has overcome the power of the imperius curse through which he controls d boy. his son is d one that puts that mark in d sky, i think to send a msg to all other followers of lord voldermort. d houseelf is eventually sacked publicly by Bart----in that scene where we see him accusing d children of putting d mark in d sky, they find d elf in d area d children say they saw someone and Barty publicly sacks d elf ......i believe of from fear of being found out (coz in d book Barty is known as a really strict man who follows d rules). anyways to cut d long story short, Barty goes home that day to find his son is not home and that is where he starts to regress (its not shown in d movie but in d book he slowly regresses, until he becomes insane--actually tortued/kept under a curse). he is not seen again in public for a while until a day Harry finds him in d woods and he snaps for a very brief moment, fighting d curse to mouth a few words to Harry abt confessing and getting Dumbledore, Harry leaves...runs.....basically to get Dumbledore, but on his return d man is gone. also u are such a great reactor very intelligent and sensitive, picking up important stuff from d movie...if i didnt know better, id say you'd make a great Auror/detective.
The music was done by Patrick Doyle who did the Planet of the Apes series (at least the first one). He also did the music of Thor and works frequently with Kenneth Branagh (Professor Gilderoy Lockhart from the 2nd film).
Oh, FYI, if you want a suspense noir thriller, lol sort of, react to Dead Again with Branagh, Emma Thompson, Andy Garcia, Robin Williams, Derek Jacobi. Music, of course, by Doyle.
I like how you put 2+2 together so quickly and figured it out one of the major plot twists of this movie. Now, I don't quite remember how's in the book, but it was surely less obvious. Precisely what i didn't like from this movie is that they emphasized so much those little details that ended up taking out all the surprise from it.
They do intend for the first 5 movies to mostly be for children so I get why they make it super obvious, but as as a kid I bet it was very confusing haha. But if you really analytically ask “why is he chugging a drink out of a little bottle that looks weird” then you hear snape complain about Polly juice potion going missing, it’s like Oh! Moody is always drinking something- bam
the wands are twins so Both Harry's wand and Voldemort's wand had a core made from tail feathers from the same Phoenix, Fawkes. So, when they dueled, the wands connected and basically turned the duel into some kind of deadlock, with Voldemort's wand spitting shades of his last few victims.

She watched those movies before. I watched her reaction the philosophers stone and noticed. A lot of people noticed it in the comments on that video aswell.
couple small things i noticed and loved about characters in this film...but one in particular is Cedric doesn't wear a "potter stinks" pin and has told his friends not to wear them as well.
Cedric was a good man
*collettecherry* thank you for the continued series reaction to the harry potter franchise. I truly enjoy your smile and intellectual assessment throughout the story and bringing insight to lovable characters both bad and good(extremely wicked)!looking forward 😅💙 to more content and amazing adventures with yours truly
They basically just take out a huge part of the story that involves Bartys wife and house elf that explains how Barty JR got out of azkaban and everyone thought he was dead. It's pretty sad, but it would take a lot of time up in the movie.
Plus the movies are all Harry's perspective, so it wouldn't make sense to show that since Harry had no knowledge of that event.
@@passionsquietrage
Good point!
Yooooo you're rockin the button down really cool look! And you totally called it with them bringing the Voldemort scene at the beginning back in the last third honestly this one's up there as one of my favorite Harry Potter movies! Have a good one take care!
Welcome to Ravenclaw, Colette!! Love the reactions!
Hi Colette ty for the reaction !
32:00 is. Fun fact. Radcliffe actually set a record for time spent underwater filming for this. What an experience.
12:53 dumbledore said calmly
Didn't it say "shout calmly?"
@@Ironoclasty Actually, its "he asked calmly".
@@MGower4465 I'm pretty sure it's "shouts calmly," because otherwise the action in the movie wouldn't match, and then it would create all kinds of controversy and memes.
@@Ironoclasty thats the meme. In the books it says "dumbledore asked calmly"
@@TombRaiderSyd Well, dude, I really can't carry the joke any further than this. I mean, unless I explain it, and no joke is funny when you explain it . . . unless that's the joke.
This is my favorite Harry Potter movie. It's so dark from the beginning. And with that plot twist at the end. Just superb!
If you've never read the books, then yeah it's good, but it's probably the worst movie in the series when it comes to being book-accurate. This or Half-Blood Prince.
Thanks for these reviews. You are awesome!
In the book
Bart crouch jr isn’t revealed till right at the end
He’s not in the dream, it’s just Voldemort and wormtail. At the quidditch World Cup, Harry hears someone but we don’t see who cast the mark
He doesn’t do the lick thing, and there’s absolutely zero hint that moody is crouch, and it’s a complete shock at the end
Also at the trial, he attempts to deny that he’s a death eater and the public believe him innocent. Then when Harry goes to dumbledore’s office and ends up finding the pensive, he’s going to dumbledore because he’s had a dream (this time it’s Voldemort using the cruciatus on wormtail for allowing crouch to escape, but it’s not confirmed they’re talking about crouch and they get an owl to say ‘he is dead’)
Also crouch sr has a house elf, and the elf was responsible for making sure his son doesn’t escape, and the elf was accused of conjuring the dark mark so it’s given clothes
You dropped this at a perfect time! Thank you!!!! 🙏🏽
I may not comment much on your videos but now that I am, just want to say that I think you’re doing a great job 🫶🏽
Thank you for your reactions to this series it’s my favorite I love it your channel is amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I love Robert Pattinson
Somehow, having Doctor Who as one of the Villians and the tent being bigger inside is so satisfying.
YESSS SHES UPLOADED AGAIN!❤😂😊
The joke that went around a few years later was the whole premise of Goblet of Fire was Dr Who going back in time to try to prevent the Twilight series.
Pleasant, intelligent, and empathic reaction.
Can`t wait to watch the next one. Thank you!
Sending Hufflepuff Love your way.🤎🧡🤎🧡
18:39 "what are you doing in the tree Malfoy...." 🤣
Within the first 3 minutes I’m reminded again why you’re one of the most intelligent reactors
Oooor, she already watched Harry Potter before 😊
24:11 ive never spotted this before.
Love that line!!
It's funny to me how effective Moody/Crouch's Unforgiveable Curses lesson actually is.
It's explained in the book how BC jr "escaped" Azkaban.
What happened in book?
@@Karlebow571 His mother (I think it was her) drank pollyjuice potion and took his place i Azkaban. Daddy kept JR under control with the Imperius curse and an invisibility cloak. With their House Elf Winky to keep tabs on him. At the match, JR was enraged at the other deatheaters since they had escaped and broke free of the curse by sheer force of will.
12:53 He said it calmly😂😂😂😂
Exactly the meme what I’m here looking for.
Was going to write exactly this!
Mad-Eye Moody has made so many enemies that he only drinks out of his flask because he would expect someone to poison him.
The use of any of those curses on a human is illegal. I'm not justifying cruelty to animals, I'm just explaining why he was able to do them in a classroom.
Funny enough, I never really thought of that, my brain automatically just assumed they meant using it at all for any reason was forbidden, but he was otherwise given this one exception as an educational thing
This makes more sense, that it’s only use of them on a human that’s forbidden
Love all of your reactions ❤
26:08 Filch dancing with his red--eyed cat... 😸😆😸
"It's a good looking dragon" are you the female version of Shrek's Donkey? 😂
3:17 Even outside the Twilight franchise, Pattinson can drop a landing all vampire style! 😂
"Kill the spare!" and the Harry Potter movies were never the same again.
1st time here W love ur reaction queen Leon out ^.^ muahhh
Love your content. Keep up the great work ❤
Viktor Krum was 18 in the film. Stanislav Yanevski actor for Viktor Krum was 20
You are the best reactor on UA-cam, hands down
I'm honestly impressed with your ability to call what is going to happen before it happens lol!
She’s quite obviously familiar with the story
Awesome! Barty Crouth Jr. got out because his mother helped him to.
My 2nd Fav Out of the movies 🫶
12:52 Dumbledore asked calmly
The thing about Harry and Voldimort's wand connecting and bringing back Harry's parents, as well as Cedric and the muggle caretaker all as ghosts... They weren't really brought back, exactly. When two wands that share the same core duel each other, the wand that is losing the duel is forced to reveal the last 5 spells it performed. In this case, 4 of those last 5 spells were the curses that killed Cedric, the muggle caretaker, and Harry's parents. The form that those spells revealed themselves is to manifest the ghosts of those people.
So this is where the tears begin...
The ball was only opened to 4th years or above, Ginny was in third year. So she said yes to Neville so she'd be able to go.
I dont know if anyone has told Colette that she is super smart! Am a new follower so have not seen alot yet, but damn she is cleaver! I get amazed how fast she catch on to things and connect the dots. Its kinda fun too see actually because i did not connect the dots the first time i watched theses movies😁
Yeah, either you can say that the Harry Potter vs moldy Voldy gets started in the 3rd book or here in the 4th book, but I can definitely say that a lot of the action gets started here!
“Never hear Snape apologize for his mess up”
Me: 😏😏
He doesn't apologise though. He asks for forgiveness. Not the same thing.
@@s1lm4r1l6 asking forgiveness is pretty much saying you’re sorry my guy. In saying sorry you admit your wrong doing because you know you were wrong. Asking forgiveness is admitting your wrong doings but it’s also the unsaid part of I’m sorry😐😂
You’re asking for forgiveness when you say I’m sorry, which is why they can accept it or not, not accepting usually means they don’t forgive you for what you did.
@@KeyySterr When do you think Snape admitted he was wrong?
You’re a freaking genius sometimes with your predictions 😂😂😂
This is where I consider the Harry Potter movies start getting dark
The abrupt end to this video is breathtaking.
You are the only one of so many reactionists I've seen to figure out who Moody actually was. Great reaction thank you.
Girl, keep doin these reactions, homie...keep being you...stay you and stay classy!!!
The next 4 movies are absolutely fantastic. Buckle up!
37.40...Moaning Myrtle clued us in back in the bath...and Moody was hitting the flask WAY back in the dining hall. LOL.
Harry didn’t go out there to fight Voldemort. He said “have it your way” as a little f you if I’m going to die I’m going to die fighting on my feet. It truly demonstrates how brave his character is.
you're the first person i know who noticed lip licking and polyjuice potion. i like it that you notice every detail
Not sure if you noticed this but every Harry Potter movie the Harry Potter logo starts getting darker
Fleur and Colette giving me the same vibes.
The older i get the more i love the books over the movies, don't get me wrong. I grew up with the movies and they will always be special to me. But man could they have been better. I would heavily suggest reading the books when you're done with the movies, because it's entirely different experience all together.
Hi Colette hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
She’s definitely a ravenclaw
Professor McGonagall is the goat ;-; the way she cares for Harry is so sweet. She also pulled her wand on Moody that was a boss move. I love this movie, but it does suck to see Ron fight with both Harry and Hermoine
❤❤❤ my absolute favorite franchise.. well done ❤
The music was done by Patrick Doyle who did the Planet of the Apes series (at least the first one). He also did the music of Thor and works frequently with Kenneth Branagh (Professor Gilderoy Lockhart from the 2nd film).
I assume he did the music for Branagh's Cinderella, as well?
Oh, FYI, if you want a suspense noir thriller, lol sort of, react to Dead Again with Branagh, Emma Thompson, Andy Garcia, Robin Williams, Derek Jacobi. Music, of course, by Doyle.
21:54 it's because the dragon flew through the teacher's box so they were cheering that on lmao
Awesome reaction of my favorite Harry Potter movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
50:32 David Tennant of Doctor Who and DuckTales!
You gotta do a reaction to Christopher Nolan's movie TENET from 2020
That stars John-David Washington and Robert Pattinson
"HARRYDIDYOUPUTYOURNAMEINTHEGOBLETOFFIRE?!" - Dumbledore said calmly.
Colette you are a pretty smart little girl. I like how invested in the movies you get. Hugs from Canada
