Most definitely strip planked Northumberland Strait boat....I built Cape Islanders down Canso way.....those crosspieces on the frames are called hooks....the longitudinal parts are bilge stringers.
that is a Northumberland Strait edge nail style boat built by Odis Crawford in Murray Conner NB. around 1985 it,s planked with spruce . Rib,s are Hackmatack. keel and cross peaces. is mostly Maple &Ash
Mazda rx7 Hi, the boat is now called the "Knot on the Bay" and is parked next to the Lighthouse at the Masstown Market. They serve Seafood and Fish 'n Chips. It's awesome!!!
And add 1/2-1 inch of fiberglass and you have a nearly indestructible vessel, would love to have one like that
