- On this episode we work on my friend Bert's 1957 Chevy. I got this car along with five others from Texas a couple of years ago. We stuff a blown small block chevy in it and get it ready for cruisin' the coast!

Strange at 83 I worked almost all my life on stuff like that.
Always working on the stuff.
As I set now , it’s nice to get in my HondaCRV with a turbo 1.5.
Air everything and almost drives itself. Just change the oil.
Runs much better than my old 57 I had and great brakes.
Runs 80+ down the road all day with 30+ miles per gallon.
I miss those old days, but not that much.
when i was young i remember all the cool big block cars with blowers my uncle had my dad use to work on his motors i wish i could aford a bad ass motor like them

Just remember kids , blower surge equals inevitable backfire. Make sure the wallet Is full and keep a Halon squirter between the seats.
I had a 67 hotrod Mustang when I was a teenager , had problems overheating after an engine swap,changed the radiator, and a whole bunch of other parts to finally run it hot and cracked the block. When we pulled the motor to tear it down, we realized it had the wrong intake blocking the back water ports.

Are those blower carbs on that 350? Way too much blown surge to be a decent driver, sounds cool as hell though

Also if the blue car has a plastic oil pressure line I have had the line collapse and show oil pressure at idle .
